For Pluto you could've used a steve head. Mob heads are exactly 0.5 blocks wide in all dimensions. The reason I chose steve head is because it matches the color of Pluto's landscape, being brown and tan.

To make it higher than 256 blocks use the Cubic Chunks Mod you can build higher and it makes chunks smaller so there isn't any lag
