Devin sets himself apart from all the riff raff and average vocalists out there, and he's only getting better. He and Simonich are two best out there right now, IMO. I hope he keeps doing Worm Shepherd and Devin to Embers along with guest spots because his sound is so distinctive and needed in a world of blah metal lately. Thanks Mark for getting to this band.

I agree with you on Devin, but I wouldn’t say a lot of metal recently has been “blah.” In fact, to me, it seems like there’s been a ton of great metal recently and more coming: Mental Cruelty, In Gloom, Level 80, Litterbox Massacre, Bonecarver, Grima, The Escapist, Hideous Divinity, and SCUMFUCK and Austin Dickey’s new project, Darkwatch, both have stuff coming out at some point (I’ve caught some livestreams of Dickie and Dickey where they’ve played or recorded new music, and they sound great).

Hey, man. I know, you really love highs and tunnel throats. You should check out Monasteries - Digital Suicide or Beyond Deviation - White Noise! Josh Davies and Guillaume "Pterodactyl" Villeneuve are very talented, and for me, they're quite also underrated. Beast vocalists, for sure!
