I saw some great shows at the Cameo back in the 80's. Megadeth on the Peace Sells tour and Ace Frehley w/ Frehley's Comet. White Lion in support. Both of those shows were in 1987! A lot of great bands played there. Metal shows, Ramones, Pearl Jam.... So many!!!

Awesome video! I attended the University of Miami back in the mid 90's when this movie was filmed, so some of these locations were where we'd hang out on the weekends, like South Beach. As far as Snowflake the Dolphin, it was first shown in the old Orange Bowl stadium, which was torn down to build that awful hideous Marlins stadium. I think they also show Snowflake being stolen from the Orange Bowl and not Joe Robbie/Hard Rock.

I was living in Miami when this was filmed. You got everything right except the stadiums. The location where he jumped into the tank was actually the Orange Bowl which was knocked down to build a crappy baseball stadium. Dolphins stadium was used to film the "Super Bowl". I remember seeing a local news story where they were asking ppl to come out and be part of the crowd for filming. Wished I had gone after watching the movie. Great job on the video. I used to rent a kitchen next door to where Tex Cobb lived in West Philadelphia back in '92 (around the time of Ace Ventura) We became talking acquaintances. What a funny guy he is! He has great stories for all the movies he's been in (which is a lot!) If you ever meet him, ask him about how he got the part of the motorcycle riding bounty hunter in Raising Arizona. Too funny. Sad to say I haven't talked to Tex in 10 years. But he's out there somewhere making whoever he's talking to, laugh.

He has an amazing story. He took on Time Warner legally (no problem, right?) for articles they published saying he threw fights Tex won millions but T W. played the appeal game etcetera. Anyway, they blacklisted him. I hope he eventually gets what he deserves (as in....good)

It still cracks me up every time watch it, 28 years later. in 1994, at work there was a guy my age and we spoke to each other with Ace Ventura movie quotes. We cracked each other up. Other people we worked with would have no clue what we were talking about, it was hysterical.

My husband and I watch all those movies. No matter how old they are. They still make us 😂😂😂. TV One is showing In Living Color , on Sundays. Jim is a Comic icon... will all that's going on now we all need to just chill for a while, watch movies that make us laugh. I know what we are going to watch this Friday. So a big thank you. *Since you like Jim Carey here's a story of a deleted scene from Ace Ventur 2. I'm not sure if I told you this a couple years ago or not.* I played a tourist standing behind Jim when he was dressed up in disguised as President Abraham Lincoln. He had a bloody patch on the back of his head and everything. It was supposed to be right after they said "Ace how are you going to get into the park? Ah you forget I'm the master of disguises". Then he comes out dressed as President Lincoln. Some disguise. Well, as our tour guide was talking to us Jim walked up from behind me. But before he got to me an our tour group. Ace saw the electronic Rino they used later and he looked inside it and rubbed his Chin like he had an idea how to use it. (that's when he first saw the rino he used later). Ace/Abe pushed past me to listen to the tour guide. I was supposed to act upset as I try to look past his extra tall hat while he's blocking my view. When she was finish telling us about the wild life park Ace saw the guy with the crow on his shoulder that he was hiding from (forgot his name). Ace spun around to hide from him but not before Ace grabbed my shirt collars and got in my face and yelled "don't you ever ever stand behind me" then he did his Ace slid out of view. I looked towards the camera and said "what an azz hole". Jim and I improvised the grabbing of my shirt and yelling at me and my responding. We were just supposed to play with him blocking my view. We had a great weekend filming that in Kerrville Texas. The director loved what we did. We filmed it acouple times. We filmed other things but they chose not to use it when they changed directors. If you ever come across deleted film I'd love to see it. The only thing I have is a script pay stub and a picture of me standing behind abe/jim that's online. My kids would love to see it. Jim is a really good guy. Thanks for all the videos
