Thanks Derek. Another good presentation of one of the Acid Archive entries. - Chris

I watched yours this morning. Love Friendsound & Brotherhood. I'm missing the 2nd Brotherhood. But I remember there's an instrumental on Joyride that they put vocals to on their 2nd.

Love this record! Finally tracked down an original a couple months ago but when I got it in the mail, it was in fact, a bootleg 😢 the search continues!

Dang. Yeah, I didn't even know about the original Hard As Rock title till years later.

I am not sure what reissue I have of this record but it is made to look just like an original. I haven't listened to it in a long time but I do like it.

You're gonna outpace me! But love it though. This one is classic AA and certainly one from left field. I'm familiar but don't own. My buddy here played me his copy a while back. great and crude. Will need to track it down at some point. I don't remember side 2 at all. Is there a Brigman kind of thing happening with this? A little. reminds of Slit and Pre-Slit too aka Jim Shehard
@PsycheDerek.2 ай бұрын
Brigman isn't too far off, but I'd say this is even more harsh & loose than him. Side 2's bootleg quality interferes a little for me, but worth keeping for the '78 recordings here.

Cool video Derek , i really like Vulcan. I have the 1985 reissue as well as the 2010 reissue. I like the 2010 reissue. It has 19 tracks. The album cover is of good quality and it looks cool . My favorite song is "I Want You" on Side C . Take care

Hmmm... never heard of 'em, but the intro track on yer vid reminds me of Dutch band Dragonfly's "Celestial Empire" 45, in feel and grunginess. As Spock once said.... "It's Acid-rock Jim, but not as we know it!"🖖

A little more punky than the Dragonfly, but crude as hell.

Also having Iowa as a neighboring state, I absolutely love these local Midwest psychedelic inspired albums. It’s so fun to look for them and when you finally find one there’s no other feeling like it man. Gotta love the acid archives (I have the second edition, which I believe fixes the error on the hard as rock second edition claim) my mother says it’s my holy bible (I carry it around with me everywhere) 😂

Vulcan sounds cool. I think I’ll dive into the acid archives thread.

I sampled this. It is really good. Side two has a bit of a bootleg sound.
