@@DaNewWaveLee true, maybe the OG movies were good for the time period. But the prequels had the same problems. But after shows like GOT, Breaking Bad, HOT D, Westworld and more. You should say that they have learned to make at least a few decent seasons of a show. Especially after the disastrous episode 7, 8 and 9.

There is one threat - the task of killing a Jedi without a weapon. And I think we see Qimir doing it by turning Sol, exposing him to the dark.

Despite the descent action scenes, there's nothing redeemable about a very poorly written and directed show with forced cameos, subpar acting, huge plot holes, poor character development, and a confusing mess of an incomplete story that serves as a setup for a second season that may not even get green-lit.

Id say Qimir is either a retcon of Darth Venemis, or a failed 1st apprentce of Darth Plaugeis, and disney inturn can also make him a founding knight of Ren since they kept using Kylos theme and the show runner said it was for a reason she couldnt share. Maybe somehow Quimir fails Plagueis and is abandoned by the sith and he has to start his journey again elsewhere so somehow hes Both a Sith and a Ren. I hope hes not tied to the ren and they played Kylos theme for other reasons I like the idea of him just being Plagueis's 1st apprentace.

@@paulinelambert7780 the Knights of Ren are a dark side cult from the Sequal era. Kylo Ren was their leader. They were built up a lot in the marketing and merch for the sequals, and then only had like 10 total underwhelming and forgetable min of screen time across 3 movies. Even tho they were teased to have a lot more impact on the story. They were expanded upon in the comics supporting the sequals. But I personally found them pretty lame and un impressive. It felt like either their story arc was cut out of the movies, or they were just inserted in there to sell toys. Either way. Meh... lol but yeah the idea of Qimir being a the 1st apprentice of Plagueis who somehow fails him and is replaced by a certain young senator from Nabboo. Thats something Id be down to see. Honestly I kinda think it was a missed opportunity to not have plagueis have a bigger role in the story. Hes a character fans have been wanting more of for ages. Seeing Plagueis try and enact "The Grand Plan" with Qimir build its way toward Plagueis finding Palpatine and their early relationship would be a good story a lot of us would like to see.

So it really wasn’t much of a Sith centred series at all then… it was way less of a dark crime mystery thriller than Andor… the writers didn’t understand cause and effect… they don’t understand character motivation and development… they don’t understand the force… and so on. None of the flip flopping of Mae and Osha are reasonable. The way all the Jedi behave is counter to their code and expectation. The coolest part of all of this is the bad guy but he seems to be little more than just that, the coolest appearance in the series. The whole thing could progress as counter-intuitive as is without him at all. But then again there would be nothing of interest left so I’m glad he was created. I have no idea why anyone thought having a single force immaculate conception split into two was a good idea for any of this. Just because someone did think that shouldn’t be a problem when EVERYONE at Lucasfilm immediately tells them to stop talking utter crap. Well, that is what should have happened. I am pretty sure that Pablo Hidalgo should have been removed from Lucasfilm a long time ago. I’m disappointed in Filoni dropping the ball here, but this stinks of Pablo support. The head of the story group doesn’t understand George’s Star Wars.

Qimir isn’t Plageuis and I highly doubt we will see his master but a lot will be revealed about Qimir for sure. David Harewlod is probably the chancellor though it IS a possibility that his sith master will show up. But Qimir definitely isn’t Plageuis tho

I had to stop the video because UK gets it Wednesday. I feel The Acolyte most definitely got better further into the series and don't want any spoiler alerts. Episode 7 really balanced things somewhat. It's better than the negative from the early episodes because everyone decided to hate it but yeah it started off poor!! An original Star Wars fan as was I "Yoda"

I think Mae kills Qimir with help from Venestra, Osha kills mae on accident trying to kill Sol, and Venestra tries to kill Osha, but Sol steps in and dies from Venestra, while Osha escapes. Venestra blames everything on Sol to the council. Osha survies and kneels before the Sith Master in the end credit scenes.
