Your Christmas looked so beautiful!!! We always go to my in laws next door for Christmas Day but I think I'm going to adopt some of those dishes and ideas for Christmas Eve or Christmas Adam. I love the wrapping paper idea as well! Currently, we still hide all gifts until early Christmas morning because I have littles that I don't quite trust 😊. You mentioned those wolf tracks... A few weeks ago, my husband had just climbed up into his deer stand when he could hear something rustling around. It was too dark yet but later on that day he was able to check the trail cam from that time and wouldn't you know it, a mountain lion had followed him in!!! This is fairly close to our house and we have also had a few bears in the yard, makes me nervous to take the kiddos out for nature walks.

This yr we decided not to give our older children any gifts. Our daughter moved 7 hrs north of us, so basically her gift was our Thanksgiving trip up to see her in November. Our oldest fell on hard times so he has moved home so we can help him get back on his feet. So the baby is 13 yrs old he was really the only Christmas presents we had to buy for this yr. I felt bad but I still think the older children got something special too. ❤

The joy that’s in your children’s faces are like heaven remember that when it’s so much work to wrap all their gifts it’s so beautiful that I wanna do this next year with my own kids and grandkids. u have wolfs well im not in omaha ne but in my old neighboorhood we have coyotes i heard them howl in az and a2yrs later coyotes just like deer raccoons possums kind of suburban around there by a hospital used to have a dairy farm and apple orchard but they built more places
