Hi Matt, I would say learning Chords. I was taught how to place your finger down on each string to make a Chord. Then to find out when Changing Chords as a shape. Strumming can be difficult. I never used a Metronome then did. Many thanks for your videos much appreciated. God bless you 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Being brand new my finger tips are 'soggy' or soft and I can't get the strings to sing. For example the "G" cord. High E and B don't sing even though I am just behind the fret.

Matt I am having trouble with using a pick. I tend to "heavy hand" when i use a pick. I sue my thumb and it sounds muffled so I am frustrated about it...any suggestions. If I use my amp on acoustic/electric it seems to sound on using my thumb. Am also working on the Travis picking method and not use the pattern into a measure...lots of questions......and frustrations

Jon Lawson I am using a Dunlop nylon .46 mm. It has helped a lot. I’d like to find a 50mm Dunlop nylon. I have a 50mm plastic but I think I’m better with nylon

@@acousticselection thanks. Currently trying to learn the intro to friends in low places I have the first half but the last part is really difficult especially for me because I just started playing about a month ago
