If she acted in self defense, there shouldn’t be a charge. The way she talks, the fact she didn’t know what a plea agreement was, I’d assume she doesn’t have any priors, but with a $35,000 bond, it sounds like she has priors. Either way, if she was in fact defending herself, she should not have been convicted, let alone charged. It also doesn’t sound like it was a stabbing, if there weren’t any stitches, the guy received a band aid and a script for pain meds. It clearly wasn’t that serious. She feared for her life and her safety and well being, and most likely the safety and well being of her kids. So she grabbed whatever she could reach, which happened to be a kitchen knife and she cut the POS. I can’t call it a stabbing if the coward got a bandaid and a script. That’s just not right. She is your typical professional victim that can't even pay 20$ here and there to protect her families accounts that put their finances at risk to help her. Here’s my question-why can’t they sue on the theory of anticipatory breach? They have all the faith to believe that she won’t pay based on her history and time that’s passed.
@lynne7092 жыл бұрын
You can only sue for an anticipatory breach if the other party has stated that they have no intentions of fulfilling their side of the contract. The defendant said that she can’t pay not that she won’t pay. That small technicality is what’s preventing them from collecting this money right now.

@@broncotia3125 I'm mean, so she says. She could of made up the part about him choking her to have a legitimate reason as to why she stabbed him to get a lesser charge. She had every reason to lie.
@broncotia31252 жыл бұрын
@@spacecase8791 Thats true, she could have lied but if she was just plotting to stab him I'd think she'd have used something other than a butter knife. That sounds like a desperate choice of weapons. Course I wasn't there so who knows. Its just a sad messy situation. Hope she makes better choices all around.

@@broncotia3125 I must of missed the part about it being a butter knife, I thought she said kitchen knife. You're so right though, either way you spin it it's still a horrible situation, especially for the kiddos.

No lady, she didn’t mean “hustling” in the sense of breaking the law. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Family, as much as it may pain you, please just let her arse sit next time, because her knowing that her aunt, uncle, and father, are in danger of having their assets frozen should motivate her to get out and do whatever she can, legally of course, to get some money to pay on this thing. She could look into day labor, hell, cut lawns if you have to, but don’t put your people in a situation like that!

If only it were that easy to go on social media and just make money. She doesn't look like type to have a Fans Only page. Selling plates of food cooked in a private home is actually illegal in many jurisdictions. Do hair? Looking at hers who would want her to their hair? Washing dishes? Her and every other ex con is trying for those jobs...not enough to go around.
