Note that there were no track switches. It is essentially two separate tracks where each monorail just goes back and forth on the same track all day. That's part of why this would not be practical as a real public transit system.

Finally a complete trip experience of The Seattle Monorail 😁😁😁😁😁!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking for a video that shows the whole experience of taking it including going into the station and getting the ticket and boarding the train. I may live in The Chicago Area but I'm a massive train fan and monorails are among the top things we train fans want to ride on before we die. This video was excellent 👏 👏👏👏👏.

There's a Light Rail station at Westlake, that you can take to/from the airport. Having been to Seattle many times, I find the lack of bustle downtown, to be borderline depressing.

I rode from Northgate to Westlake and from Westlake to Monorail the other day. It was good! But uh... the Monorail *does* get a bit hot during summer. It almost feels like a greenhouse.

We did this same ride at the end of last month. We totally got lost once getting off at the shopping centre lol. The streets didn’t make sense, neither their name signs or the way they faced. We ended up walking twice the distance to get to Pike Place Markets. Google maps kept taking us the wrong way 🤦‍♀️
