Activating EVIC in 05-07 Dodge Charger

Hello, my 2009 sxt charger does not have controls on the steering wheel (factory) but I already have the steering wheel with controls and the harness, could activation by this EVIC method work?

How difficult is it to change the wire harness fie the steering wheel and for the gages? Do you have to take the whole dash apart?

The guages are plug and play minus the programming. The steering wheel is super easy. The harness plugs right in, and you just have to turn on the functions
