1:02 why not select body computer MY2014 or MY2015 or the body computer for your specific year? seems like theres at least 2 different ones that could apply. how do you know which one to chose?

Dear .. I have jeep grand cherokee 2015 I programming srt page and unable drop fog lights and more after that remote start not working and give me in dash bord remote start disable ... I try solve it ... some guys tell me that happen from battery and the coustmer said it new .. !! i look at the details in alfaobd and I found remote start antenna is not present so how can be starting when it not there ? do you think this the problem Gust note: no fault code there

Doesn't it work if I don't change the hood ajar switch setting to yes? I wonder why you need to set this up. Is it to prevent remote start-ups from working if the hood is open?

It is a safety feature. Let me know if it is required, if not set

Yes, but you also need to replace the rfhub with the remote start upgrade kit.

Auto Tech Electronic if you got the mopar kit and replaced the rf hub, would you just be able to use the keys that came with the kit for everything? Or do you still need to go to the dealer and get the keys that came with the kit reprogrammed?

This, along with other "Activate Remote start" are misleading. You don't have remote start built in to your vehicle. You have to buy a product to get it to work, and then follow their programming steps to get it active.

Hello! I'm from Brazil. Here we have a Fiat Freemont, basically is the same of Dodge Journey. Just change the Brand and the Engine to 2.4 Petrol. Can i Activate this procedure? Actually my Key not have a "press 2" to activate. If i get a New fob Key its possible to run this tutorial? When i use this tutorial with laptop and PC Program AlphaOBD i see most of parts do you show😁 but when part of CBC/IO its diferent: "Usage-Trunk/Flipper Glass Release Switch Usage" thanks for reply❤️

You need to add the remote start win kit. And Activate the remote start feature and hood ajar.

The hood latch must be remote start compatible with the harness connected to the TIPM

Very, simple. If you press the lock or unlock 3 times and it starts, it has Aftermarket remote start. Oem uses the 2X button only for remote start

@@AutoTechElectronic i think you messed understood and i know how to operate the remot i meant those cars that didn't came with the push button start remot and when you add a 5 button push start button included the vehicle still not actived to sart via the remot so you have to activated. Hope you get my point now.
