Dougray Scott was cast as Wolverine and was shown in costume on the first shots on the movie website. When filming ran long on Mission Impossible II, Jackman was recast.

Who hears Gladiator and thinks wolf? Was in the movie for like 5min and never mentioned after the battle in beginning of movie. Talked more about his horses than did about the wolf.

He either plays the charismatic action star with humor or serious dramatic part like Ali or pursuit of happiness. He isn't great at being mad and vengeful so fox was def a better choice. Smith is pretentious and phony as anyone in Hollywood so I'm glad he didn't Stat in Tarantino film plus those two are like oil and water.

It was great for everyone! Early 2000’s was when so many rappers, or music artists in general, becoming actors. So we got to see which ones could actually “Act” and Ja wasn’t one of them.

Re: Debra Winger's comments: Debra is way off base. People in the theater and reactors here on YT (including two that are PE teachers/coaches) are amazed at the ball playing abilities of the women in the project. Debra unjustifiably feared losing the spotlight to Madonna. Yeah, in today's world Madonna is a big pain in the butt, she paid her dues (and I now wish that she would quietly retire and fade away).

They had a fight on set & the Rock lifted Vin Diesel as if he were a toddler. Vin didn't like it. Also, both have a clause in their contracts that they are not to lose a fight on any of their movies. It's like some wrestlers that refuse to "put over" anyone or to be pinned, no matter who it is. Childish.

@@lizardog The nonsense is the the VO saying he made the wrong choice because the film made money or around that time. Also, he made a choice that's not the same thing as 'spite' which is what the title mentions. I didn't say they were attacking him I said it was non-sense.

Will Smith knocked back Django. Big mistake. So, he stars in another black slave movie, an obvious push for Oscar gold. It bombed. In the interim he did get the Oscar he was chasing. Most of the world doesn't know what the movie was for some reason.

I understand why Charlize Theron turned down the opportunity to play Wonder woman's mother in that movie, but she probably did that because she didn't understand that the character was, essentially, immortal and therefore she would be playing a woman who is younger, and at the same time, FAR older, than she appears. Putting a major talent like Theron into such a minor role, however, is reason enough for her to pass on the project. The actor that took the role does a magnificent job with it, but it remains a supporting character and that wouldn't have changed with Charlize in that part.

He liked drowning almost everybody in the world just because they wouldn't do what he wanted, making him the biggest serial killer in the history of the world. However, before you start believing that the Bible is the word of God, I would advise you to consult with a historian or a theologian who can tell you how much the Bible has been completely changed from its original version.
