Across the three days, the actress spent her time helping care for the elephants - from taking a walk with resident elephants and chopping fruits for them, to preparing stimulating enrichments and learning about their treatment procedures. Our team is highly inspired by Jennifer’s grit, determination, and compassion to make a difference in saving India's wildlife.

I saw a couple of seconds' worth of film of pajaan or "breaking" of an elephant one time years ago & I still cannot unsee it, it was so horrifying. I could not and still cannot believe anyone can be so cruel, it was beyond anything & I was overwhelmed with grief. I cannot imagine having the courage or ability to watch an entire film of it. The people who can do that in order to be primed for the fight against those practices have my deepest respect.
