Clariss, of all the videos of reactors that has seen this film, you were the best one.The way how you were so invested in the story, you tend to be very expressive and emotional. I think that’s why I love your channel because I’m also the same like that when it come to films. I recall how when this came out, everyone was comparing this to Zootopia on the account that it was released in the same year afterwards and it has the same premise but with singing. The cast surprised me to the fullest, especially Taron Edgerton, Scarlett Johansson and of course, Tori Kelly; which is how I first met her or heard her voice, mind you. You are about Illumination Studios. Ever since their first debut with Despicable Me, they made pretty decent movies, including Sing. Even now, I still can't help myself but to smile and enjoy the vibes here. As a singer myself, it gets my vote. I look forward to the sequel and the Netflix short that was released not too long ago. P.S. Of all those characters, Johnny and Meena are always my favorite since they have the voices of angels. Rosita does so much for her family and yet, her hard work goes unnoticed that her voice was shunned out until her performance with Gunter. Mike is quite the glory-seeking narcissist but damn, Seth MacFarlane can sing. When you mentioned him sounding like Frank Sinatra, I was like, "Right? He even dresses like him too." You should also check out Migration, another film of this company. It’s pretty good. 😉

Fun Fact: Taron egerton performing "I'm Still Standing" as Johnny is what helped him land the part as Elton John in Rocketman. Elton himself saw it with his kids, loved Taron's voice, and made sure he got the part.

I remember being pleasantly surprised by this movie the first time I saw it! The cover of I'm Still Standing is hands down my favorite song of the movie and I still listen to it pretty regularly. I still need to get around to watching Sing 2 myself

At this point, Taron Eagerton was still being considered for the roll for Elton John in Rocketman, so they changed the song he was originally supposed to sing to I'm Still Standing, and made it his audition. He nailed it, and they hired him practically on the spot.

Mike was a douchebag, but in the end he could recognize that Meena had pure musical talent, and that's something that does deserve respect. Also, I like how Johnny's dad thought he had to take back what he said to Johnny and just broke out of jail. He always could break out whenever he wanted, he just lacked the motivation for it.

I love this film so much. Buster is one of my favourite characters in the movie cause he’s very passionate about his dreams and doesn’t give up on them and some of the characters are on a journey where they find their voices which relates so much to me

I love this movie! I can relate to Meena on so many personal levels, and I see myself so much in her. Music is a huge part of my family and I’ve been in choir for years! Now I’m singing in my church choir, I love to sing with all my heart!❤ they’re so many talented and amazing singers and incredible songs in this movie! This film means so much to me! I loved sing as a kid. FunFact, My parents Danced To “I’m still standing” at their wedding. Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Nick Kroll, and Seth MacFarlane are really good actors. 1:40 I love greatest Showman. Zootopia kinda did the Whole Anthropomorphic City thing better. 2:22 Same. 3:26 A Polar Bear wearing a Hawaiian Shirt is Ironic. 4:41 The other day, I realized that John C. Honestly, I prefer Sing over Zootopia. Why? Because it isn't too melodramatic, has different word building, and makes better creative decisions (proving John Lasseter wrong in terms of primates and non-mammalian animals). Overall, Sing is one of Illumination's best.

"I like Illumination. I think they make fun animated films." Honestly, the only Illumination films I outright dislike are Hop, their two Seuss movies. I'd go so far as to say I'm actually looking forward to their Cat in the Hat film. Unlike Lorax or The Grinch, I think that story is simple enough for Illumination's style to fit it.
