This technique actually works when it comes to dating. Five years ago there was this woman who I thought was out my league (looks wise) but I watched this video an insane amount of times and picked up on a couples things; Like how to be aggressive but respectful, to show high value, and to not beg, and to have them wanting your attention. I realized that the goal wasn't to have her say "yes" to date, but it was to make her grateful I even asked her out. It's not narcissism - it's the mentality you need because you have to have confidence that what you're offering the person is worth THEIR time, not yours. Five years later, I'm married to that woman. Great video, Mr. GC !

Nothing in this world moves until something is sold, and that's the cold hard truth. You don't have to be in "sales" to get value out of this either. It's called winning with people and getting people to do what's in their best interest. Everybody is looking to be persuaded in life to do something, and by demonstration, Mr. Cardone completely rocked it. Model him and you'll have everything you want in life.

You're not gonna sell to every person you talk to but keeping cool and presenting it to them as common sense will get you to your yeses! Inspiring. I also love how he made sure there were no other hidden objections by just asking point blank, "do you have any other concerns that might make you change your mind?" Awesome.

3:17 ❝$1500 a month... that's your objection, is the cost? (He's moved already.)❞ What Grant means is this: The guy already believes in: ✅ Grant (the provider) ✅ the product ✅ his team to execute on the product Now it's a matter of 'making sense of', or justifying the price/payment terms... which is why Grant expands the cost from $1500 to it's maximum of $40k. Grant expands the cost for 3 reasons: #1: every business owner HATES recurring costs. This expansion shifts the perspective to a one-time cost #2: Expanding the cost expands the problem, and people subconsciously know that solving a bigger problem auto-resolves smaller problems (for example, a single guy who feels anxious to message one girl... that's a tiny problem... if the guy would become more attractive and have multiple girls to date, he never cares about one tiny message to one girl) #3: if the prospect can justify that he's already spent $40k elsewhere, then he can do it here, hence the question: ❝When was the last time you spent $40,000?❞
@BenRangel3 жыл бұрын
"every business owner HATES recurring costs" is this really some universal truth. I feel like tons of sales pitches are based on the exact opposite. Even Grant's own. He sometimes breaks down costs to a per week cost and says that makes people feel like it's less money

Selling to high income potential clients as a Broker was the most fun I've ever had. I'd find new ways of knocking them off their high horse and at the end they'd ask me to keep them in the loop. In the end you'll close everyone even the girl you always liked even if she's married. I did.

Once you are in the pitch you need to listen to them really listen becasue they will tell you how to close them. I can see now why "no" is not something to be afraid of, if you truly believe in what you offer. A "no" is just the customer not realizing (yet) how much what you offer will help their lives/business SO much for the better. This has motivated me to "re learn" what sales REALLY is (not the bad thing I used to think it was), so I can be more influential/persuasive, and sell myself and my work in my career. Problem agree, solution agree. Once Grant got on the call the first thing he had Carlos do was reiterate the reason he called in the first place, and then showed him that the expense would be a worthwhile investment not a cost. After Grant's direct request for the sale grant just needed to assuage Carlos with several kindhearted assurances and the deed was done.

Nothing within these examples are the real deal. I would be impressed to watch a complete cold call all the way through to conclusion with the guy winning the sale. These are all half closed deals on his name alone! There just bowled over to be speaking to the guy. A anonymous salesman has a much harder job.

I trained 2 large call centers in life insurance by phone and to be truly objective, The first 1 minute or two where actually pretty good. He asked the right questions but would put off most people by asking too many "closed end" questions instead of focusing more on the main one " What is your primary goal?" After that he talked too much. I once closed a 1 million per year deal per year for 20 yrs in 12 minutes and we coached our people to Fact find, present, and close, including the instructions to the client.. Overall, Shorten his solution presentation, and its better than most, but not worth paying for.

Grant you are inspiring! I love these real in the moment videos, really helps with the learning curve. As someone who use to be an introvert and absolutely hated customer interactions and sales I have grew and now feel more comfortable. I have developed my own style of selling that makes people feel like they have a personal and trusting experience. I try to stay genuine to who I am but still try to maximize what I can get out of a situation by showing them the benifets. I will continue to put your tips into my own way of selling and become great like you

Hey Grant, It's Gordon and Leona from Toronto, Canada. Just a quick note to say that we watched your live sales reality show and we were absolutely "Blown Away!" You don't take no for an answer and you push, push, push until that door is opened and the deal looks pretty dang closed! Total Respect for what you do and we were just talking about how your process IS the next big reality tv show (and obviously all media). The minute we have actually have sales staff we will contact you. Cheers! Gordon and Leona, Shoppabilities

I do believe in Grant's selling techniques, but you have to feel these were rehearsed calls, for two reasons: a) as pointed out by others, they don't blank out the callers' numbers or addresses; and b) certainly in England, if you are recording a telephone conversation for a third party to hear, then you have to get the caller's permission to do so.

Transactional selling vs consultative selling. This type of selling works mainly with smaller type deals($40k for the year) vs enterprise sales contracts where major corporations are spending $6-$10 million annually on services.

What everybody here is missing is the POSTURE, self confidence and "speaking the same language" as the other person. Usually the average sales person that is talking to a business owner is talking from position of weakness. Here Grant goes owner to owner, no BS, let's just get it done attitude. Very good technique but hard to duplicate when a "sales rep" is talking to a business owner unless they really build up their posture and self confidence to pull it off.

Fantastic man. I just pause this video when you end up to crack the deal and I am pretty impressed by your selling style and the way you handled and converted the call from negativity to finalize the deal. By this video, i also got an idea how to tackle the tough calls which will be very useful for me in the professional sales call. Thank you very much, Grant Cardone, I really appreciate your help.
