All these prospects are so respectful to Grant. He has leverage going in. I want to see him cold call a complete stranger who has no idea who he is, with a flight mechanism and no interest, and observe how Grant handles hostility and nastiness

In my personal experience selling to salespeople and sales managers who want to increase their sales is vastly easier than selling to non-salespeople. The salespeople are lured by the smooth pitch, and want those same skills - salespeople, including myself are always looking for a shortcut around the grind that is sales. Your average person is generally turned off by the super smooth sales pitch - they prefer a person that seems relatable and honest.

TWNS 10 You've misinterpreted my comment. GC is very much a scammer. A multitude of commenters point to his courses as being basic 101 stuff and not particularly useful. When I refer to not having friends in this game I'm commenting on the lack of ethics and morals he displays and how no friend he claims to have is interested in anything but promoting themselves for which he gets reciprocal credit. When it all collapses a bottle of whiskey and a revolver awaits. I'd rather not join him in his narcissistic career.

I have been a car salesperson for a little over a year now and I always ask a few questions in the close if they are not wanting to purchase. Questions similar to Cardone's questions. 1. Price? 2. Is it the dealership? 3. Have I not done a good enough job for you? 4. Is this vehicle right for you? etc. I will now be adding 5. "AND I DON'T THINK THIS IS THE CASE. YOU'RE NOT THE DECISION MAKER?" I LOVE IT. I can't wait to do it.

This is perhaps the hardest person to close a sales manager in charge of sales people buying a program about sales. But the same techniques apply and once he had him explaining his business to him I mean you’re halfway home at that point. The rest of it was just confidence building and friendship building. And I think you had to establish dominance. And make him feel like he was the only person in the world that hadn’t bought this program yet and that by not buying it he was going to destroy his business

As someone who sells 30 cars a month GC does offer some good insight into how closing the sale works. The main thing is to keep your cool and make it your own. They need to buy from you for you. If the customer won’t come face to face to negotiate then they aren’t worth the time. If you come across desperate they aren’t coming in.

Having worked as a salesman in auto dealerships for 20 years, Grant really only cares about himself. There are plenty of people out there all trying to sell dealers any program that appeals to their greedy nature of increasing revenues, often times resulting in pay plan changes that do not benefit the salespeople, only management. The auto industry is evolving away from salespeople into order takers and appointment setters. Now dealers can hire unskilled people to greet people, park the car up front, and shuffle them into finance. I found the environment to have become a grind house for salespeople. RIP auto industry. You can thank the Cox group and Grant Cardone.

Then not only that this man taught him how to overcome the objection from the gate keeper when he goes to his boss. With the mechanic explanation This was masterful

Hey Grant...You're quite sharp and quick. How about listening to your client - putting him - front and center, instead of phishing for responses you need to sell your next line? You seem like a nice guy in your videos but you work like your time is running out. You might close the sale, but how's your experience of what you are doing? It's your energy and attention that closes the sale that combines with what the customer needs - not being a bulldog. Sorry man, but you're so easy to read. It's too bad, the best part of you on the internet is when you're not working! What the videos for contrast and see yourself for yourself. If you pull a little bit of your authentic self into your deals - you'll make more. Period.

An interesting thing to watch....one thing I noticed is how Cardone makes the connection between business success and skillful staff, 9:37-10:03 and from 10:19-10:27. Notice how the company Cardone is selling to focuses on advertising to drive business and does nothing in training/developing their staff......I know it would be hard to change their mindset on de-valuing employees but that's the pitch I'd make the most over everything else Cardone tries.
