"I" had abusive parents who didn't know how to love themselves, tried loving them for decades to resolve it, and wound up hating myself instead After being suicidal (worse, living Hell and almost dying) for years, I found Leo's enlightenment videos. I’ve been in a few year long journey to try and “fix” myself. I’ve always struggled with social anxiety and low self esteem and for the past couple years I’ve been really trying to end it. A few days ago I stumbled upon self love and acceptance. My journey has brought me everywhere, and it finally landed on my past memories being the source of my problems, and so I started trying to “repair” those bad memories. I started doing this by forgiving myself and the people who have wronged me in those memories, and then it moved on to loving myself and loving those people. After 2 days of trying to do that I’ve finally started to see real results. I feel much more comfortable with myself and my self esteem is higher. And now I get into this video, and the first thing I hear is that every teaching Leo has done leads up to this. So I think I may now be at the end of my journey. It’s still a little early to say, but I think I’m gonna make it finally.

Then boom I forgot who I was and I saw this white light and I don’t mean imagining it. I fucking saw it, like reality was a cartoon that just cracked and there was this pure white light. I felt unconditional love so powerful that I started crying from happiness and joy and I felt things with my body I didn’t know I can even experience realizing that I am everything and everyone at the same time.. I know what you are talking about and this is happening more and more randomly around the world. But Leo know that there are people who understand what you are saying. I was a hardcore atheist and thought this life is all random and now my views are so different. Something happened in the past and we forgot what we are and who we are. The self love that a coach showed to a school shooter on the news a few weeks ago when he embraced the shooter and hugged him was absolutely heart warming
was not a school shooter. the kid was saying he had no intent to harm anyone other than himself from the moment he pulled the gun all the way through till he was embraced. what you witnessed on that video was a stoped suicide through a fearless unconditional act of love, not a school shooting. but during that level of an emotional situation, it could have escalated into a school shooting/er easily.

Beautiful share. Every word rings truth. Self - Love is the one lesson that comes in MANY forms, and all life experiences both positive and negative leads us to SelfLove also. Few months ago, I had my Kundalini awakening. I didn't know that was what happened at the moment. I was doing breathwork at the park, summer noon, and I started to feel chilly. A force of energy came from my root to heart and kept going up. Arms shaking lightly. From all the trainings throughout the years, I told myself to surrender, not to think and logic anything, just FEEL. I started to see a vision, I didn't 'see' them, they were in my mind, like I received a code or information. Like when we are dreaming we 'see' things but they are projection or imagination of the mind. The feeling & information was that I was an alien in one of my many lifetimes, and I was(or more accurately FELT) abandoned by my parents/home planet. I saw my planet, and I saw my alien parents, and I felt the abandonment I felt then. I started to slowly regain consciousness, I understood the meaning of that vision. "I am here to heal my trauma of abandonment, and to find true home, which is within me always." I thought. Looking back in my life from birth to now, I understood that I chose everything that was happened in my life. The beautiful thing is, the journey brought me deep healing and now I know it's across lifetimes. Which means your healing, and love for self is not only for you. It's for ALL. Because all is one. So yes, Self-Love is not only the ultimate teaching for humans, it's the highest teaching in the universe.

58:38 You make it easy for me. My son is a meth addict and has been mostly homeless for the last 10 years. I’ve been trying to love him unconditionally with acceptance of who he is. He needs love. It is so hard for everyone to love him and this causes more guilt and pain, but if you just give up the idea that anyone has to be or do anything to make you happy, it’s easy! Nothing you can do But you can learn how to be you in time It’s easy! #allyouneedislove ✌️❤️🕉
@uim_Zalk5 жыл бұрын
I'd say that the current goal for your son is to self-love more than he loves the comfort of the high that he searches in meth, as well as know that the love that meth makes him feel will never be as genuine, gratifying and stably long-lasting as the love he can develop if he understands that he can put in a little bit of effort into developing this love, slowly but surely shifting the impulsive behaviours towards conscious, healthy decision-making. Your job is to remind him that he is able to make changes, however smell they may be, on top of validating every but of effort towards the right direction and to be understanding and loving when gently confronting him, helping him raise his awareness on why he'll want to make the changes. Try to recognise what triggers his impulses, so that they can be avoided during the recovery. You seem like a caring father and I respect that, but right now you'll want to show yourself that I'm right and put in the work to implement these factors, your son and yourself will thank you when you've succeeded to help him kick the habit.

Psycadelics is the ultimate awakening tool. Let's stop beating around the bush. No other technique, method, or teaching is as direct, deep, or powerful. Not meditation, not yoga, not contemplation, not self-inquiry. Psycadelics is the guru. No guru can do for you what psycadelics can do for you. If Christ or the Buddha came back to life and personally taught you one-on-one for 10 years, they would not be as effective as a few doses of powerful psychedelics. That's a bold claim. I'm really watching this because I want to practice self-love. Thank you so much, Leo. The thing ruined the early stages of my life was this... not loving myself. I never knew that it was my natural right, people around me gave me that hint that loving oneself meant selfishness, it was something like a sin. So many good people don't know that it's their duty to love themselves, and even after they knew it, they still don't know how to do it. I'm not blaming anyone except..... Now, no one.

This is an excellent video! I've really been practicing loving myself more everyday for a couple years almost! The last time I tripped in March I really enjoyed looking at myself in the mirror my psychological and physiological flaws didn't show up in the mirror. I've really healed the pain and suffering inside of me! It's really helped me see people in a more spiritual way which has helped me be more patient and loving towards them!

This resonated deeply as if you were narrating my consciousness journey. I've heard teachings for years from retreats to books, both in and out of buddhism. But this was a special transmission. Thank you for your lucidity x

Remember how he also marvels about the beauty and wonder of life? And that to experience an amazing life you gotta see the amazing life you have right now. It's also about loving what is, and loving what is not. it's a whole thing, it's entirely inclusive, including, every single thing. All those things that are not, they are. but perhaps we don't want them to be. So our resistance then, also is. It's a really cool thing.

It's fasctinating to see someone following the journey to their own potential. You are a philosophist and this is your own school. I've listened to this about 4 years ago and I was fascinated and I listen to this know and I compare my own understanding of reality to yours. You keep philosophy alive and I could not appreciate you more. I've been working with my understing of reality for about 25 years and your videos gave me so much. I'm not a 100% committed follower of yours but if philosophy would exist I think I would declare myself as a pupil of yours. I spend my whole life reflecting and contemplating about reality and you are one of my most influental masters. Thank you. English is not my first language (yeah, i know it's obvious), i am european.

That part around the 1:09 mark where he talks about being in a devil job really hit home. I already know my self-love and my love is too small, I've known, but I want to find that love but it's been a journey so far. I'm still in the shadow work/accepting parts of myself phase. This part is taking foreveerrrr. But I'm also intimidated about just taking hallucinogenics, I'd rather just believe what people are saying (I've done mushrooms once and that was quite the trip that touched me. Doing anything harder feels like it's going to rock my world a little too hard). Practicing meditation regularly has been a battle too. I know it's a focus and willpower thing, I just have to keep pushing. Thanks for being so inspirational, Leo. You have such an admirable fire and to say you're insightful is an understatement. And yeah, meditation should be enjoyable. It's been that effortlessly maybe twice. I've tried to reach that experience but it's not, I dunno, I guess I'm still very neurotic. Listening to the rest of the video, ...okay, so to have the truth of something is to love it at the same time. Consciousness is endless creativity. That's me. Can I accept that? God is looking at God. I don't need it to be different (and it can't be different, it's everything, it's all possible difference). That is the pinnacle of self love. Fuck. Lol, I feel so small even thinking about it like that.

I love you, Leo! The feeling I get when I look at, or think of, people feels like I'm a non-human entity observing a different species, appreciative of the intricacies of their thoughts and behaviors... almost like people are children figuring out life. It becomes easier to understand the shortcomings of societies and individuals.
@3pleFly4 жыл бұрын
Just now coming out of that long dry spell of simply observing society and detaching myself from it. It's important to go through this spell, but to be completely honest, I feel like I was distracting myself, giving myself time to consider everything I am learning. And in a way, I was also creating more ego, I was detaching myself, but becoming attached to my own observances at the cost of being involved and in life.

This is the video I recommend to people when they start getting in to personal development or spirituality.

I like the way that sentence began abstract and philosophical, and ended on something concrete, the “tin packet of herbal cigarettes.” Very poetical, irregardless of intent.

I'll never forget feeling like I didn't like myself as a kid, and suddenly after listening to a lot of rap music but focused on the confident sound of the beats, ignoring the lyrics, it really hit me that I'm never gonna be any one else for the rest of my life. No one is gonna be me better than I can be myself, so I HAVE to love myself. I'm fully unique to any other human. This was a premature realization, so as I grew up, I had trouble with the ego and thinking I'm better than many types of people, and this was not a superiority/inferiority complex. No, I genuinely placed myself above many others. It was internal, so every one thought I was nice, and I always have valued kindness. That's part of what made me feel better than others. Occasionally I would have weird conflicts with people and it always seemed like it was their problem, and on the surface, maybe it was, but I clearly had a lower frequency that was a match for conflict. I had no issues with genuinely kind people because their frequency was so high, it doesn't even register for them that I have internal ego problems, because I wasn't putting it out there in an obvious toxic way. I never ever wanted to hurt any one in any way, and I took pride in that, until I was pushed the wrong way by the "right" person and snapped at them. Fastforward to this year taking psychedelics; all that self love is exploding out of me. I'm dancing and my existence feels orgasmic. It's not even sexual, but it's the best way to describe it. So funny enough, I went from seeing myself as a king to believing I'm God, but thankfully...I go through life now seeing every one as God, and every one is my equal. I can't hate any one for not accessing high awareness yet. We're all getting there. :) I still love a lot of rap beats, but I don't feel them as aggressive. It's just intense self love energy. No matter what you're struggling with, never let go of the fact that you are truly one of a kind.

36:14 "you are not unconditional love me becoz i'm useful to you." 1. If people want others to love themselve conditionally, just become useful for others. You are not useful but you are blaming and question about love all the time. 2. People love others becoz they are useful. we find out any possibility to love others is just looking for how to make people as a tool. that is business. 3. There is no self-love becoz we follow the rule of conditional love. surely but never find the answers. 4. When Leo says this, I try to unconditionally love him, there's a shock that peace and quiet come to me, and I have nothing to take care about Leo, shame. 5. I am sorry to all people, that I never unconditional love people. I even want to say sorry to people who I never know. 6. There is strong energy fills my body while I'm considering about unconditional love, I want call this energy as "humble". 7. Different channels help you to solve all tiny emotional problems. But Leo is not solving those, Leo took you to the root. 8. My baby stage of Self-Love: Hey Leo, wish you all good.

Recently had to practice self love at work. Declined lifting residents at a care center to keep my back safe. So grateful for the awareness and growth that empowered me to care about myself regardless of the judgement of others...who appear to lack their own self love and wish to diminish those who stand firm in self care.

This is so authentic 💘🔥 I'm in the place of life where the integration between the spirituality I practiced years ago and my recent discovery to my lack of self-love is beautifully integrating into one thing and discovering that it actually means to be my own authority and creator of my life. That is what powerful self-love means, it's owning your perspective.

Mr. Leo Gura. Since This vid is about Love; I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you do. I have been actively on this journey for about 8 years now. Well a few years ago a wise friend told me that I needed to kill the ego. I then started to research the topic and among endless information on the topic, I stumbled on your one of your ego videos. Well some time between then and now I have seen just about all of your videos. Checked and rechecked the information. Somewhere in this process, I have had multiple realizations or enlightenments. I have found so much peace through knowledge of self. More than any material or physical feeling. I know it is just the universe speaking through you but want to express my gratitude back to the universe so thank you.. Love....
