From my commonplace book. • Life needs to be lived to be understood • Life is filled with traps. Be careful, not paranoid. Fear is one of the traps • Life can get really really bad and really really good, much worse or better than you can ever imagine. A multidimensional spectrum. • To live a good life ○ Learn how life works. ○ Learn how you work. ○ Learn how you fit into life. Customize life to yourself. 1. Be true to yourself. a. Figure out life for yourself. Do something new. b. Why am I here? What am I here to do? i. Turn inwards to ask questions about life. 2. Trap of ideology. Falling into belief systems other people have invented. Defending and fighting for those. a. Stay open like a child. b. The individual and the collective are intertwined. Don't let yourself be blindly programmed. c. Quality of life will depend on how you use your mind. So master your mind. Take responsibility for it instead of creating a story or blaming or being victimized. How is your mind creating the situation you're in? 3. Your mind is projecting and creating reality. It is interwoven with physical reality. a. Thoughts, emotions, ideology, belief systems create reality. Mind is generating reality. 4. Take the process of learning and understanding seriously. This is the master key to life. a. You will never understand how life works by subscribing to ideology or belief systems. b. Wonder about what anything and everything is. What is a friendship? What is a tree? What is its role? .... c. Cultivate independence of mind. Figure out life. Question everything and everyone and yourself. d. The value of questioning is not to get the answer, but to go through the process of questioning. That's why you can't just get answers to life from somebody and it's done. 5. Curiosity. a. Develop curiosity about everything. Become your own life long learner and educator. Become an audodidact. 6. Passion. a. The worst thing that can happen is you take life for granted. 7. Have something in your life that you're deeply passionate about. a. Many things. Be so passionate about everything that you can. Then hone it down to only a couple of things you will devote your life to. b. Passion snowballs. You generate passion. c. Work on your own terms. Create a Life Purpose for yourself. You create meaning. 8. Desire is far more important than knowing how to do something. a. Purify the quality of your desire. b. What do I want? What do I desire out of life? What am I passionate about? How can I be more passionate about life? c. If you're not proactively pursuing a passionate life, you're going to by default get a passionless life. 9. Reality is subjective. a. Be in touch with your feelings. Be in touch with how reality feels. b. Spend time feeling deeply. Feel everything. Connect with your intuition. c. Recognize how amazing it is to be alive. 10. Make commitment to always be figuring it out. Commit to living a good life. a. How do I live a good life? What is meaningful to me? What do I want out of life? b. Common trap: being hyper-logical, learning safely from a distance like a scientist. You can't do that with life. You're plugged into life, you can't act like a scientist. i. Don't treat life as logic is the ultimate lens. 11. Life is highly complex. There are usually no clear answers. That's why it's so interesting. a. Love the complexity of life. 12. Emotions are more powerful than logic. a. Feel good in your body, feel good about your life. b. All things that we want (satisfaction, happiness) are not logical, but emotional. So feel life. c. When you're suffering, feel deeper into it. Generally, feel deeper into negative emotions, it will help you feel deeper into positive ones. 13. Face problems and difficulties head on, instead of trying to avoid them. a. Commitment to maximum, radical self-honesty. Always be honest with yourself. Otherwise you will deceive yourself and it will take you in a wrong direction in life. b. If you don't have truth about a situation, you have nothing. 14. Take truth really seriously. a. Truth is what everything is, all that is. Truth is reality. If something isn't true, it isn't real. If it isn't real, it doesn't exist in your experience. It is literally nothing. b. Do I want to be on the side of truth or bullshitting yourself and others? c. Be committed to truth. Sometimes the truth will not be in your interest. d. You can't lie to others and be truthful to yourself. 15. Life is deeply counter-intuitive. a. Things often work the opposite way of what you initially think how they work. 16. Be proactive. a. Be in the driver's seat, not in the back seat of your life. b. You're here, be engaged in life. Find something to enjoy. You can build a career in any field. c. The bottleneck in any career is your passion. If you want to make a lot of money, find something that you can pour thousand of hours into. 17. Develop mastery. a. Pick something or two and master it. b. Develop skill in a field. Be useful to mankind. c. You can be useful to society in its terms or on your terms. d. Spend decades working on something and then you can produce something people will pay you for. The better you get, the more valuable your skillset is. 18. Money gives you freedom. a. Always work on some career related project through your life. b. Never let the phrase "I don't know how stop you". All you need is desire and ambition. Use the desire to research, learn and figure out how. 19. Human beings are different. a. If you observe people for half-hour in a crowded place, you're going to notice how different people's bodies are different. Then translate that to understand how people are different in their minds. b. People's minds are so different, it is as if they are living in a different reality. i. Different personalities, genetics, brain chemistry, ideologies, software in their minds ii. Different levels of ambition, levels of motivation, fear profiles, neuroses, energy levels, moods iii. Different stages of development, levels of consciousness, access to different aspects of reality c. Customize life for yourself, because you are also different. d. Advice isn't the same for everybody. You don't know who you are as a personality. Go through a deep process of discovery of yourself as a personality.
@jurijjukic3834 жыл бұрын
20. You were born into a culture. This culture has been indoctrinating you. Your mind has already been programmed. a. Epistemic challenge of figuring out of what's true and what isn't. Deconstructing everything you've learned. b. All that programming is keeping you from living a free and open life. 21. Heal your traumas, both minor and major. a. All of us have traumas. b. The earlier in your life you experienced a trauma, the deeper it is and the harder to heal. c. Trauma is like a weight dragging you down through life. d. Healing possibilities: i. Therapist ii. Psychedelics iii. Introspection, contemplation, journaling by yourself iv. Talking it out with an intimate partner v. Hire people, coaches, psychics e. If you don't heal, you're going to spend your life desperately trying to fulfill your unhealed needs. 22. Health a. Your culture will feed you garbage and poison and you won't be able to feel your mind and body. b. Learn proper nutrition. i. Read books about nutrition. ii. Eat whole foods, vegetables, fruits, high quality meats and fats. iii. Drink purified, high quality water. iv. Don't consume products that contain mercury and led. c. Learn to exercise. 23. Reality is not a physical system, it's consciousness. a. Everything is made out of consciousness. b. Subject is not separate from the object. You're meshed in with reality, not separated from it. c. You have direct access to reality itself. d. No.1 key to living a good life: be more conscious. e. Reality is infinite states of consciousness, you can be in many different states, from depressed to happy. f. The more conscious you are, the more you understand how everything truly is. The less conscious you are, the more you live in a lie. 24. Life is about two forces: fear vs love, selfishness vs selflessness a. This is what all life boils down to. Your life, all humanity's life runs on fear and love. b. In your life, notice that you're doing everything either out of fear or love. c. When you don't get enough love, you recoil and go into fear. Life is a training ground to teach you how to love and how to be selfless. d. Love is a fundamental feature of reality. e. The quality of your life depends how much you will give in to fear versus how much you will pursue love. f. Love life more and more and more. That requires being more and more and more selfless. g. The more selfless you are in life, the better your life will be. The more selfish you are in life, the worse your life will be. h. Radiate love on your terms. How are you going to manifest your love? 25. Life is like a sandbox game. (e.g. Minecraft) You get thrown into this world, and you get to decide what you're going to do. a. There is no good and bad, meaning is constructed. b. Life is an experiment in creativity. c. Don't judge others' creations, focus on your own. d. When you hit the limit of love. Find out how to love even more. Raise your ceiling for love and selflessness. Keep doing that until you ace life. 26. Spirituality a. The biggest trap is ideology and belief. b. Derive the answers for yourself. c. Test ideas through trial and error. d. Gain infinite self understanding. e. Direct experience is king. There is nothing to reality but experience. Anything real is experienced. f. Turn your life into a scientific experiment, to figure out what is reality, consciousness, life and how to life a good life. g. Get serious about life. Metaphysically serious. i. You can figure out the universe. All that it requires is a radically open mind, curiosity/passion and the desire to do it. 27. The biggest obstacle is culture and your beliefs and programming, along with personal self-deception. (see Leo's videos on self-deception)

ה ה Look when Leo frowns...the shape makes a Hebrew H. This is mind blowing to me because it is offten used to represent the Name of God. Leo says he is God and his flesh is marked with that saying when he becomesd stern....OMG...is he actually GOD? Hebrew spelling: הֵא H In Judaism He is often used to represent the name of God as an abbreviation for Hashem, which means The Name and is a way of saying God without actually saying the name of God. In print, Hashem is usually written as Hei with a geresh: ה׳.

All the while, you’re genuinely(hopefully! Ask yourself if you teach genuinely) passing down knowledge to someone. What can I do with this now that I am actualized.. totally happy and confident about myself and have realized my fullest potential. I am able to articulate myself very strong! I am able to put mixed thoughts, feelings and emotions into simple words or sentences. I know how to lead someone up to awakenings. I am struggling to find my art now. But I am awake! One thing to remember is that, unless you’re working with/under/for a mentor who is teaching you and guiding you in your career field, every job will only teach you what you need to know to do the job. For me, I know my job isn’t going to teach me everything I need/want to know. So I refuse to wait to work a job that will. I actively learn on my own time. If you can find a mentor, do it! But until then, don’t rely on your job to teach you more than the job itself.

One thing I will say from experience is that if you have a spark of passion and in the moment which creates that spark you want to pursue it, solidify it as a vision. There will be times when you're not passionate about it. Maybe you became depressed, certain things changed in your life, maybe you had gradually less exposure to it, feeling less passionate as a result. That's fine, just remember what made you passionate in the first place. You shouldn't just quit because you're no longer passionate about it if you really believe in it and there was once a point where you were HUGELY passionate about it. It comes and goes.

In physics we learn that there is no such thing as cold it's just the absence of heat. So the notion that there is love and the absence of love is called fear is actually really accurate!
@laisa.2 жыл бұрын
Why can't cold be absence of heat? Not trying to argue, I'm just curious 🙂
@jw_training74912 жыл бұрын
Late reply, and I don’t have an answer lol… But some shit to consider might be, heat requires energy while cold doesn’t. Energy has a mass equivalent, so therefore heat is a physical form while coldness is formless. But then you could just say, “form is the absence of formlessness”. But we see it the other way around because our consciousness is designed to be drawn toward form. In the same manner, our consciousness is designed to be drawn toward love, and so it’s by the design of nature that we ascribe valence to duality

Same... but you know what, I think Leo's concepts are too big. You should start by doing something smaller in your life, something more mainstream, like finding a job or getting your social life together. And though Leo once said all of what he's saying has direct effect on our lives, I'm starting to doubt it. One of my favourites videos from Leo is How To Stop Being A Victim. Because that's the first steps in self-improvement that actually have practical use.
@jessemartin18764 жыл бұрын
@@Senijs has it opened different perceptions though?
@Senijs4 жыл бұрын
@@jessemartin1876 Leo definitely opened new perception for me with his ideas of The Fabric of Reality. That was a good thing to think about and now I have a very deep, fundamental understanding of how our reality is made. The fact that it can be literally anything and work in any way possible. But I'm not ready for most of Leo's concepts yet. Meditation included. I tried it, I tried really hard. But I failed over and over and over again. Because I need to get my life in shape. I started to notice severe lack of socialization in my life and this causes me to lose motivation and happiness and also gets me stuck in life. I just want to get out of this swamp that I created my life to be. Then, when I have a stable job, friends and family all of which give me psychological relief of dopamine and seratonin, I can keep improving further and start my spiritual journey. Starting meditation without a good ground in the real world is like learning to run without knowing how to walk. If my life is shit, meditation won't help me one bit and will only slow me down because it takes so much energy to master and get some feedback from it.
@roohshi78394 жыл бұрын
That's ok! Now that you're conscious why nothing changed you can start implementing it. I felt nothing had changed with many things too it's a difficult task to experience everything and apply what you learn, sometimes we even experience but forget to apply it. My thoughts on how to improve that from my perspective are to take more risks and do what we can to experience life and learn from it, basically committing to life and to Truth as Leo said in this video. I understand it sucks to you that some years have passed but hey we're around the same age we're still young it's never too late to change! Take care friend.
