even if I am dreadfully unaware, what awareness I have achieved so far has completely flipped my life around. the biggest revelations I've had are over coming the anxiety I was told I would have for the rest of my life and the harsh dysphoria I had when looking in mirrors. just being aware that everything is running itself is like a huge weight off my chest and it feels so good to be me! One thing that has helped me a lot is to start a journal, mine is called outside the box. But the purpose of the journal is to write about new ideas of questioning everything, Including yourself, your culture, you environment, the universe and everything you can possibly think to question. Ive been writing in it for about 3 years now and have over 220,000 words. Its helped me on the path of self discovery to awareness. Because the journal forces you to constantly be questioning which forces you to be constantly aware so that you can write about it everyday. The goal is to write at lease several new ideas a day.

I remember I used to exactly ask the same questions as titles of your videos. Today after so many years I see it wasn't me who became awake. You made me. Your video has this very simple structure -> break the belief system by being in the shoes of the ones who are asleep ( which feels like a drag now 😂 but I understand that's important) and then give a glimpse of your own mind. This is so unique. I don't think I have ever found a channel who comes even close to making people question themselves and understand reality. The first step in awakening your true awareness is to acknowledge your imperfections. Perfection is an illusion that everyone blindly chases which doesn't exist, don't look for it you'll never find it as everyone is their own worst critic and when a person realises this fact, it enables him/her and empowers them by first putting down the burden of the egos false demands. Striving to do better at whatever the craft is you're trying to master is the correct direction to go then this sets the conditions for a domino effect of further discovery of your true persona, before the world indoctrinated you from the cradle to now, of how to think, what you are and before your ego developed, took over the driving seat without you even realising, that tries to do the thinking for you by pulling the wool over your eyes, always too happy to convince you that you're something you're not, for its own survival and selfish ends, almost like a parasitic symbiotic daemon that tricks and leeches off its hosts in order to feed, so to speak. That being said if the clinical psychologist you're referring to is Jordan Peterson, yes he's had his lifes problems, faced and concquered his demons like the rest of us, acknowledges his failings and I've listened to many of his lectures and he comes across as a humble but passionate man about his passion on the study of the human psyche. He's always came across as a man who teaches life lessons through his own life experiences, his peaks and troughs through like from his own perspective that makes sense to him and that he's offering information to see if others agree or find common ground and if peole get offended, that's not his fault, it's theirs. He's stated many times on controversial topics hes not trying to be an antagonist, hes just speaking his truth own how he sees it, which hes entitled to, as is everyone, isn't that what you do?

I could imagine that waking up from this form of sleep you talk about would be, in some ways, similar to becoming "aware" while sleeping/dreaming. Like when you're able to change your dream just because you realized that what you're experiencing is a dream and not reality. When this happens it feels like a door to another world opens but I never know how to stay there long enough.
@ActualizedOrg8 жыл бұрын
Yup
@mladenkostic59348 жыл бұрын
This is actually a great analogy... When you became aware while you're dreaming that you are dreaming - it's the beginning of awakening. And you can't stay in the dream for long any more. I usually wake up immediately. It's probably the same with the ultimate awakening from this ego-dream to our true reality.

But when I do find these people, they are very special and I try to keep up with them as much as I can. It’s also disheartening to have family members that are closed off to the world. The labeling of humans as machines really hits home with me. I have always felt like I'm just watching and I'm not actually in control. And when you really ponder on it, the amount that happens that you aren't even aware of when you complete a simple task. It's mind blowing. I may consciously think to move my finger, but when you realize just how much goes into doing that it's crazy. I had one tiny thought about moving my finger and millions of other things happened behind the scenes for that to become a reality. So what exactly am I in control of? Sometimes when I meditate I attempt to peek into the subconscious, I attempt to see what all is happening, and the closest I get is I hear a sort of humming. Like the hum of a large group of people whispering. I often feel crazy when I think this way but the more videos and research I've been doing the more and more I feel like I'm onto something. But hell, maybe I am crazy. 😅

Over the years, I've listened and applied some of your videos. You are absolutely amazing, but that is just my conscious perspective. Thank you for long videos, they are your best. Thank you for investing time to create this organisation. Amazing channel development. Gratitude :)

Leo, I'm really impressed with your videos. Intellectually I entirely understand everything you said. Time, space and logic are not truth of the world. They are only tools to interact with external 3/4 dimensional world which is only the most basic layer of the world and are not true. Modern world over emphasizes on logic and intelligence but they are almost useless in the higher dimensional world (eg, feeling, love and awareness). Hence most of us are completely shut from the higher and truer world. Plus as you said they cannot be taught - an ant climbing on a wall won't know the earth is 3 dimension. I've been looking for ppl I can communicate on this level but most of them fall asleep! You are definitely someone I want to chat more with and I'm currently doing so by watching your videos!
@rickwei37048 жыл бұрын
And also "I" am not just the body I saw in the mirror plus a brain - this is also an illusion (produced by mirror and ideas). Most people don't understand this especially technology makes ppl think more restricted of themselves. Imagine without mirror or camera, "I" am basically the equivalent of the whole world. The entire world felt or aware by me (including my body and surroundings and ideas and feelings one cannot see) is basically "me"!

+Al-Moatasem Alaa so every university graduate lacks awareness, drinks, smokes pot, are neurotic and dont have healthy relationships? i like how you didnt quote the religious part as if it doesnt apply
@almoatasem9 жыл бұрын
+blueskyday Oh boy! You don't wanna get me started on this one. Too late though, you just did. First of all, he didn't say that every university graduate does that. That's just a generalization that you made, not him, and certainly not me. The reason I chose this section is that, like Leo said in the video, with religious people it's understandable that some of them would be deep asleep in their waking life because most of them are brain washed and not trained to think for themselves. So, it's kind of expected for them to be in that state. There is no need to over-stress on religious people. However what does blow my mind, and Leo's, is that academic people ARE much more likely to have better awareness because they do think for themselves and they do see the delusions that religious people are sinking in. But, to my surprise, academic people, not all of them but certainly most of them, are just as dogmatic and close-minded as religious people; but not rightfully so. Especially when it comes to spirituality and self exploration. Which is sadder because if people who are supposed to know better; don't, then who the fuck would? This whole scientific blindness will end very soon - I suspect within the next five years, when the evidence for the metaphysical influences in our reality are too obvious to be consciously blind to. When we master the quantum phenomenon, we will have no choice but to embrace the uncertain/non-deterministic nature of our universe. Until then, they will just be arrogant as fuck.
@almoatasem9 жыл бұрын
+Al-Moatasem Alaa For that reason, it's safe to say that academic people practice a much higher level of self deception and lying to themselves than religious people. They are worthy of much harsher criticism.
@liamailiam9 жыл бұрын
I agree with some of your points. However i do not agree that academic logical thinkers are more self deceptive, nor do i think religious people are for that matter. I do not agree that anyone is worthy of harsh criticism. But everyone is an individual, and people can be both religious and logical thinkers, so id rather not compare the two.
@almoatasem9 жыл бұрын
Choosing not to compare the two would be willfully ignoring obvious factual contrasting patterns which obstructs us from formulating a realistic view of the world and resorting to emotionally driven conclusions. That's like ignoring the fact that some races have higher predisposition to some diseases because we'd like for all races to be equal. Political correctness, when misused, blinds us from hard facts in favor of our wishful thinking. The factual pattern that I am talking about here is that most religious people, (not all because you again here generalize by saying religious vs academic), most religious people are statistically more gullible than scientifically oriented minds even if some of those religious people don't match the pattern, they would be the exception that only verifies the pattern. Not all academic people are brilliant either. But, we're talking statistics here. We're talking about patterns one can't simply ignore because they'd like to. The very nature of typical religious belief means that you have to surrender your mind to other forms of authority. It creates mental barriers that you can't even cross in your most private and sanctuary holiest of holies, your own mind. Religion creates mental barriers for people who hold it and barriers can't be good for your awareness. However, people who break free from the shackles of religion, a lot of them are atheists as an example, do not have those barriers. A big part of their beliefs is that you can think whatever the hell you please. So, when I say harsh criticism, it's not judgmental as much as it is disappointment in what they did (or rather could have done) with that freedom they hold very dear to their hearts. This is not about morality. Morally, sure, no one is worthy of criticism. But, intellectually, there is room for criticism. The kind of disappointment that a teacher would feel towards his students. What have you all done with the knowledge I gave you? It's intellectual disappointment. What makes things even worse, is when someone who hadn't fulfill their full potential are so proud of their intellectual laziness, that just adds a WTF factor to the already existing disappointment.

Awesome video! I am beginning to realize that maybe personal development and the nature of consciousness converge, and that at a certain point, there is kind of a paradox. Surrendering to your "true authentic self"/"source"/"the one"... whatever term you fancy... must either happen to be in line with your "life purpose" or your life purpose shapes itself in a sense, as a result of increasing awareness. Leo, you're missing the point. Awareness isn't about creating some kind of superhuman mind-state of concentration - it's about being the 'knowing' of all those mind states, including focus and lostness, as they come and go - it's BEYOND mind-states. Thinking it's some kind of 'heavy lifting' effort that takes eons to perfect is not correct. Remember this is about coming back to the natural state, it's about 'undoing' the mind, not efforting to focus - which just creates more self-consciousness.

Leo, I have watched this video many times, but I am still confused on a lot of it. These are the notes I have from this video: 1. I'm asleep 2. I can't control my brain so I can't control my life. 3. Less than 1% of 1% will get this (this really made me want to figure this out)... I don't posses consciousness or what comes with it. So what you mean by that is that when I am thinking negative thoughts or suicidal thoughts I should realize that I don't have consciousness and that I shouldn't trust my thoughts because they are distorted by my lack of consciousness? 4. All awareness is is the study of oneself? 5. What can I do other than read books from your book list, do the life purpose course, meditate (this is so helpful), and watch your videos in order to gain more consciousness? Thanks for all that you do, you are really helping people.

Great video! Although, I disagree with the point that we have zero control. What I think, based on what I have experienced in life, is that we "are" a "machine", but we also are an entity blended with the machine which has special faculties such as a will....you get my point. So you can control what you eat, how to move, what to say... but you (the machine and the spiritual entity) have to do it, and becuase of our double nature (of us being a machine and a spiritual entity at the same time) it is so difficult to do what "you want" (what you as an entity, wants). But we have a will. Though it is difficult to make our natures agree and live as one being, and not clashing in an endless war. Please give me your opinion about it.
