Hi Buildzoid again, 16 years ago I bought an Asus Rampage Extreme, a QX 9650 and a 4 Gig kit of Crucial Ballistix Tracer. I managed to get the CPU to 4.2Ghz and the ram to just over 1900mhz. After messing with Gunning Transceiver Logic and memory timings and voltages for FSB which was on H2O I didn't think this was a bad OC. To get the FSB from 1333Mhz to 1907 and the CPU from 3.0Ghz to 4.2 after only 2 months of blue screens and failed posts was for me an exiting achievement. The main point is Crucial(Micron) make some awesome chips. PS. The LEDs on the modules were gimmicky at first but proved really useful because if the OC had failed they would freeze up way before you saw the OC failed post screen. Brilliant kit. Then again in 2004 £156 for 4 gig was a bit on the high side but well worth it.. Love your channel.
