Anyone know where to get the retainer pin that secures the gate cable. I lost it and had to use am using a makeshift for now. It should hold fine, but it'd like to get the OEM.

Would this work for an 03 Acura CLS6 shifter, or an RSX type-s shifter?

This spring is only compatible with the 10th Generation Honda Civics and Accords (all trims with manual transmissions). Other Hondas and Acuras have similar springs, but they are not identical and are not cross-compatible.

1) 5th gear didnt seem to work when battery is off. tested with original spring as well. once car starts again, it goes away. (same with center console screen and "system initializing"; just drive 15 meters away and it resets) 2) for base bushing, you can just reuse the same screws. didnt make a big difference with just spring + bushing. will upgrade further and update. 3) spring feels nice. helps with my lazy shifting. definitely need short shifter now.

The only gear on a 10th Gen Civic that would be affected by the car being on or off is Reverse, and that would only be affected if the car was rolling (reverse lockout is engaged by a solenoid when rolling a few mph in the forward direction). When gears feel locked out when the car is off and stationary, it's more likely that the synchro for the gear simply isn't lined up, but synchros are not affected by the electrical system in any way.

Does this fit on the GK5 6MT?

It does not. The rocker is quite a bit different (and unfortunately much harder to remove) on the GK5's.

We love the 10th Gen Civic's center console design in terms of daily use, but yeah, we wouldn't complain if it were easier to remove. :-P
