In terms of seeing them around, I think the sedan is more rare! I’ve seen 4/5 coupes in person, this is the first sedan type R that I’ve come across.

@barry216 Rare in the sense that they were only available in Japan and guaranteed there will never be as many 4dr ITR's imported to the US as there were US spec ITR's. I would guesstimate the number of true DB8 ITR's will never exceed 5-800.

The 3820 figure is US market Type R sales, there were way more DC2 Type Rs sold in Japan. There were nearly 30,000 Type Rs sold in Japan, and just over 5000 of them were DB8s.
