Great to see a real Native American getting a major role in a comic book film - not an Asian, Italian, or Hispanic pretending to be a Native American but a real one. Beach has been acting in films for decades. I'm happy for him; this film is going to be huge.

I was speaking of Puerto Rican actors, Cuban actors and Mexican actors being cast to play a Cherokee, Sioux, Lenape, Inuit, Saulteaux First Nations Native American, etc. character. That work could have gone to the few Native American actors in Hollywood. Hispanics need more roles too but Hispanics, blacks, and Asian actors are employed more often than Native Americans from federally recongnized tribes are and many are offended when work goes to non-Natives. That's a fact. I know North American history well enough.

Isn't he Native Canadian? So he's actually First Nation, not "Native American" right? Unless he got dual citizenship in both Canada and the States. But the First Nations were never part of pre-America, they were in pre-Canada.
