I restore really old engines. I’ve cut through heaps of zip ties. In my experience using 4 zip ties in 4 ports is better than 1 zip tie in the exhaust. If you are careful you can use two small pieces of zip tie to block 4 ports at the same time. Prying with two tuning screw drivers is not ideal for stubborn sleeves. Even with heat I have done damage to cases. Mainly breaking cooling fins. I am not a racer and don’t have new engines like this but came here to see what people without tools are doing. A cheap motorcycle bearing puller works amazingly for a sleeve you are not going to reuse. Infinite power and no damage to the case

Good video. An idea for free. I usually use folded paper (notebook, news paper, napkin,etc) and not the zip ties. The paper is strong, it does not damage the piston or sleeve and do the job in new and old engines with a very tight sleeve.

Adam I have. 21 novarrosi beat BT5 I need to replace the piston but I can't find its anywhere my questions is can I use the piston for the .21 P5 is the same engine same piston is fit?

I believe the P5 piston is different, but will work in the BT5. With the price of the BT5 it may be better to just pick up a new BT5.

@@AdamDrake is brand new just break in 4 tank I broke the piston because I removed the back plate to losing the flywheel nut and when I removed the back plate the piston was bottom dead center I all my fault 🙁

How do i remove the sleeve if my crankshaft that hold the connection rod brocken?

That can be difficult, but you need to push on the bottom of the sleeve. Sometimes when the rod breaks, it can hit the bottom of the sleeve and make it nearly impossible to remove without damaging the case.

I use the same technique, except instead of using shock shaft pliers i screw the clutch bell screw into the crankshaft and use a hex driver to turn the crank.

My engine piston, cylinder, crankshaft, connecting rod are damaged in very harsh way.can you please tell me that should I kept it as it is or replace parts .I'm little bit confused that my engine from inner side gets crack some where .I have invested all the money which I have saved till this year now I can't afford more ... So what should I do?

Hi, I know it might be a stupid question but do you use grease on main diff gears in your mbx8? I know manual doesnt say anything about it and it kinda suprises me.

Yes, I use the Protek white grease on my ring and pinion.
