Adam Lambert has some big pipes wow that guy can sing
@valogden11 ай бұрын
I recently saw Adam perform with Queen a couple of times. He is an incredible singer! There were 3 and maybe 4 generations there at the show. There were some guys that sat by me and said they were only there to accompany their parents. They were talking about their favorite current bands and were not really that happy to be there. They were up dancing and singing and after the show they said it was the best concert they had been to. They were all surprised about how great Adam is. There was something about him with this North American concert series. He just seemed so relaxed and accepting of his front man role. Like some others have suggested check out him singing Who Wants to Live Forever at the Isle of Wight. If you have Instagram you may want to follow Brian May. He's having Queen's management team looking into why KZbin has not allowed some channels and people to post their videos of their concerts. They are not happy about it.

Cher was there she was being inducted into the Kennedy Honors. There were other singers who sang her songs, but Adam nailed it. He came in 2nd at 2009 American Idol. He sang a few Queen songs during the show. Queen flew to perform with Adam Lambert for the finale of Idol and it proved such a success that not long after, in November 2011, Adam Lambert was officially the new lead singer of Queen. I forgot that was the same night Reba McIntyre was inducted the same night.

He's amazing. I saw this video about 6 months ago and went on a deep dive into his music. I wasn't paying attention to not know he has been the front man for Queen for over 10 years. Queen was my favorite band going way back to the 70s. His albums are really good and of course I have my favorite songs from each of them. His last album Velvet is incredible and I the song Closer to You is so good. Here's hoping once he gets the projects his working on finished and the other members of Queen get a well deserved break they find they can tour again because I really want to see them live. I am going to see Adam's performance in Vegas in October so I'm really excited about that! If you haven't seen Adam sing Who Wants to Live Forever at the Isle of Wight I highly recommend that performance. He has so many songs from his solo career too! Funny how a guy that sings Bohemian Rhapsody to tryout for American Idol and later in his tryouts sings his version of Believe that you heard here not only work with Queen but also asked to sing for Cher's honor....!
@alisonhammer56622 жыл бұрын

There are so many haters out here who throw shade at Adam, but the man has got a great voice and can evoke so much emotion when he is singing that it is difficult for me to understand those who refuse to recognize his talent. He has been a great asset to Queen in bringing their songs to a couple more generations and he is one of the few singers who can sing all of Freddie's songs without key changes. Adam has a very strong solo career, respect to him on that for sure, but I also love to see the way he puts his own spin on Queen songs and honors Freddie in doing so. I don't even like this song Believe, because I don't really like Cher and never have, just a personal taste thing but honestly, Adam not only made me love it, he made me cry. Thank you for your reaction, Harri. I always enjoy my visits here.

@@jukip1485 I never hated Adam, I was glad that Queen was performing but it took me a bit to get used to hearing Brian and Roger with a different vocalist. It only took one or two songs with Adam singing to understand that he was not trying to emulate Freddie and that he was doing Freddie and Queen's songs justice, but it was an adjustment, I had been listening to Freddie doing those songs since 1974. However, I had heard so many people cover Queen songs that once I got past my own prejudices, I really was able to embrace Queen +Adam Lambert.
