Most people are mindblown by oap planche and those things but im mindblown by your weighted pistol squats Clarence Kennedy did 70kg and we all know the monster squatter he is... 85kg its insane
@zenkai99754 жыл бұрын
What about total weight? I did it with 65kg with 132kg of body weight so one leg hold almost 200kg raw without any equipment
@zenkai99754 жыл бұрын
@Ondřej Holoubek seriously? I can agree that's the case with squads engaging two legs but definitely not pistol squad. One leg is pressing literally 75% of the entire body weight plus added weight. Pull ups also engage about 20% of the body weight considering you're pulling with your hands and your lats which are large muscle groups. So it total you're pulling around 80% of the body weight. Conclusion the heavier you are the harder are your pistols.
@joshbuckingham61214 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was insane
@ShOcKTeh4 жыл бұрын
@@zenkai9975 Your logic is a bit off. It is true that in a pull up you are not pulling your entire bodyweight. But the reasoning behind that is not that you are pulling with your lats and hands. That is completely moronic reasoning. The reason is that you forearms remain stationary during a pullup therefore you are not lifting them and have to exclude them from the weight lifted. The same with your upperarms but here you are pulling 50% of them I think. Same reasoning for squats with your lower legs and thighs. The number I know for pullups is 90% of your bodyweight but i have never checked it.
@zenkai99754 жыл бұрын
@@ShOcKTeh dude how my logic is off? I simply stated that with pistol squad you're pressing 75% of your entire body weight so the heavier you are the more your single leg got to press. There is no huge different between pull ups around 85% and pistols around 75%. Why it is so hard to understand? The guy above compared bench press with pistol which is fucking dumb and ridiculous considering you're only pressing like 10% of your body weight when doing without equipment. I can also say the heavier you are the stronger your pull up should be because you got bigger and stronger biceps and lats. Did you realized lats are largest upper body muscles? I swear somethimes all what it takes is common sense.

I do have question.. I do lift for years to be honest, but is that possible to build a back with only pull-ups? I feel like you don't do any barbell/dumbell rows, just strict pull-ups/chin-ups. Is dumbell/barbell row useless if you do pull ups? Or am I wrong and maybe you do complex back exercises? So maybe second question, do you do anything else except Dips and Pull ups on your back and triceps (like, maybe any isolations?) or these are 2 main and only exercises? I wonder also if Andrey Smaev do complex training with all isolations on the gym or he does only Dips/Bench Press and Pull up's/Chin ups. Maybe isolations are waste of time if you do only Dips on a triceps for example without any other isolations and it works..

@mn22234 жыл бұрын
Eric Bugenhagen did 102kg (225 lbs) but on safety squat bar and standing on an elevation so free leg could hang lower then foot of working leg. To talk about WR there should be some standarized rules.
@Asabado4 жыл бұрын
I dont believe in world records, There is surely Someone stronger than me some where. About whats highest on KZbin is 70kg of Real pistol squat. Other variations (on the boxes, with passive leg not in front, zercher etc. are completely different movements). Pistol is called pistol because its Done on a ground and with passive leg in front of body all the time, weight should be on chest all the time - these rules we use also on CWWB. 🙏🙌📈♥️

Do you use structurized programming and periodization in your training these days or you still follow the "old school way"?
@Asabado4 жыл бұрын
Still oldschool. I never had program. Wanted to follow one in december for 100kg pullup but with so many movements its impossible. At every session I do pullups, pushups, handstands and hspu, squats, pistols and base elements at minimum, usually adding bicep work and muscle ups now too. I also train by feeling if I dont feel that day Like doing some movements than I dont, having it written Down wouldnt make me do otherwise anyway. My trainings are rituals and fun. Its passion and ai never know what will I do exactly. Programs are for specialists Who believe that lifting some kgs more on 1-2 movements than others makes them superior and epic or Who wants to set some particular records in sports. I dont specifically go for numbers they are Just help to see if you are getting stronger other than that its movement behind them that matters to me. I really cant imagine training only one or two movements for life. No matter how structuralized that would be 😅

Nemůžu to určitě nikomu doporučit pokud není já..

I did my Best. Try it first than comment on form again. Everything on video except 90kg pullup is clean. I dont kip and leg kick on pulls Like others. My Dips are superior form to anything you will see on any competition or from top level athletes (i nearly touch shoulder to dip station how deep I go and my whole hips move up and Down without lean trap activation form), my levers and oaps are performed with legs and Ass that can squat and pistol what noone in the workout community can of course it was cleaner when I was Lighter. What else form you didnt Like? Bottom paused clean hspu straight after 32kg muscle up or strict Wall curls and no equipement raw barefoot atg paused 200kg squat? His form is pretty clean for the amount of weight he adds to everything.
