As someone who sews and finds it easy, to see you working through your process when I immediately had a good idea of how to do it was actually really refreshing. You're kind of a hero to me; doing things that I only wish that I could take part in. Yet this reminded me that this individual whom I look up to is still very human and is still learning. It shows the we all have areas that we really excell in compared to others and that we shouldn't be too critical towards ourselves when we observe others doing well in their own specialities. So thank you Adam for this. Also, for anyone wanting to try making a bag like this, use ripstop nylon. It's the same stuff used in parachutes and nearly as durable as airbag cloth but nowhere near as difficult to use.

I’d love to hear an answer straight from him, but I suspect it would be more reasonable than many would be happy with. Unless you live your life entirely around right to repair, there will always be compromises. And outside of things like iPhones where even 1st party hardware isn’t trusted digitally, you can usually get by even if a shop can’t offer it as a repair service. (Which some don’t think right to repair really includes necessarily). And some things are just seen as not really needing manufacturers support so long as they aren’t actively preventing repairs. (Ie you don’t expect a silverware company to make modular fork tines so you can replace a tine when it breaks, but there’s nothing stopping you from doing whatever you want with the fork either)

So nice showing the basics of bag design and sewing to a general makers public. Tip: to increase the looks and structure of your 'sack' and upgrading it to a proper 'bag' (with 'case' aspirations) add some semi-flex plastic rod or metal spiral piping (covered with bias band made from same fabric). I suggest on 2 opposing arcs, either short or long sides. Or maybe all four in the end. Some NASA or other space sew-on badges would be great to see too!

to bad the company doesn't let you modify your own product, literally replacing the grip tape voids the warranty.

Supporting an anti-right to repair company. DO NOT buy from future motion, having had issues with my board I wish I had known ahead of time.

Outside every onewheel hater, there are 5,000 smiling floaters. Do you really not understand why certain things void warranty? They aren't "anti-right to repair", they are "anti-willing to accept the financial burden of being responsible for repair every time someone who knows nothing about electronics decides that their 3 minutes on the internet makes them an electrical engineer, before blowing up their board".

@@NJFPV im a technition in the space industry and a certified A&P and have delt with there warranty department. They are most definitely anti right to repair
