Great video! There's a lot of good advice to consider. Working towards having a strong sense of self helps the process, i.e. knowing what your core values are etc. When I first started reinventing myself I struggled with feeling a disconnect between some of my goals and what I was feeling instinctually. Yes, I was expecting to feel discomfort during this process, but I realised I was trying to emulate others thinking that's what I wanted to be, rather than a better version of myself.

I ended 2023 with the intention to create my personal brand in 2024. This was born from struggles at work. I was dealing with a lot at the time: a new role (I'd just pivoted into a slightly different career and a different industry) and sort of a new life (I'd just gotten married and had just moved halfway across the world within the year prior). And so, my performance at work was really dipping. Fast forward to the end of 2024: performance at work vastly improved and I gained a reputation of being a very valuable team member. However, I still did not create my personal brand as I would've liked. Interestingly, the suggestions given in this video were on my plan for the year, with the exception of creating a website. This video came at just the right time to remind me that we need to make that personal brand happen and 2025 is the year! Thanks so much for this!❣
