Good to see your backyard is shaping up beautifully... for fun guys try to grow Guava that bears a pink in the inside fruit - uncommon nowadays - aromatic fruit when ripe... and also a couple of Neem plants at corners to help repel mosquitoes. May wanna consider against growing bananas - harbor mosquitoes. Take care and God Bless.

Your garden is coming well along, isn't it? I'm sad to see the kubo go, but I never really got the point of it. For me, call me old-fashioned but a bahay-kubo should be standing alone, surrounded by vegetable plants and a farm, not necessarily in a walled-in space. That plant nursery was nice. In my future garden, I see the terra cotta colored ones though. I have officially told my husband that if he doesn't bring me home to the Ph when we retire in a few years (and NOT Manila, but our family seat in Capiz), I would leave him here in Sg and go home alone. 😈😈😈 That multi-coloured bougainvillea was BEAUTIFUL. I laughed when you called them "Bombels," but at least you know you're saying it wrong. It's pronounced "boo-gan-vee-lia." When said fast, it sounds sort of like "bumbilya" which I suspect is what you may've heard. I'm glad Jane is feeling better. Gastro diseases are the worst. My mum has had awful ulcers and acid reflux all her life, it's really important to watch her diet. As she gets older though (she's 82 now, thanks be to God), I notice that she is dropping a lot of her dietary restrictions and has just begun enjoying her food. Thankfully, she lives with my brother who's a doctor, as is my sister-in-law, so I am sure she's well taken care of. Here's to Jane's full recovery. And lastly, time to get a haircut, I think, Adam. 😂 You're looking a bit shaggy there. All my best to your family! Looking forward to future vlogs.

It's pretty good. Traffic has become extremely bad at times though with difficulty finding parking but generally it's peaceful here 😊

🤫I noticed no prices marked on the pots. It's the same everywhere. I let my wife do the shopping because I don't want to pay the ''foreigner price''. It's time the government made a law that prices MUST be Displayed on items like in other nations. One shopkeeper even told my wife ''you are married to a foreigner so you can afford it''!!!

All the pots had prices on them written in black pen in the rim my friend. No foreigner price or with the fruit. They mark the prices and stick with them 😊 Foreigner price can happen though but we just never shop with someone who inflates the price. Word of mouth gets out about those who do from what we are told. It's not only foreigners but many Filipino too who suffer inflated prices. Slowly but surely it's getting less and less 😊
