Ron Funches - The Adam Carolla Show

Adam talks about attending the funeral of his late friend Ozzie. This leads him to also talk about the passing of racing legend Bill Whittington. Then, Adam discusses the importance of resetting your body with cold pool plunges or hot saunas. After that, Adam points out something that nobody is talking about within the Ma’Khia Bryant video. Comedian Ron Funches joins the show next and Adam asks him about his appearance in The Last Blockbuster documentary. Ron talks about losing weight, doing stand up shows again, and taking his son to see Mortal Kombat for his 18th birthday. Before the break, Ron expresses his interest in doing VO for a video game so Adam tests out his skills.
The gang plays a round of The Rotten Tomatoes Game themed around Oscar winners for Best Makeup. Gina reports on today’s news including: Caitlyn Jenner wanting to run for Governor of California, New York decriminalizing sex work, DMX’s funeral procession, and scientists creating white paint so white it could help fight climate change.

Growing up in Indiana in the 70's and 80's I was definitely familiar with Whittington brothers. Just like Adam said about the sponsor-less sports cars, the brothers also showed up and qualified for the Indy 500 with new cars that had absolutely no sponsorship on them. Bill and Don made the field 4 years in a row, including 1982 when Bill and Don both started in the top 8 and were joined by their little brother Dale who qualified in the middle of row 8.

42:24 - Gonna need a source on this claim, Bryan... I looked that up and all I'm finding is pointing to that being a rumor/myth and no one is able to actually corroborate that claim. So if it's "well documented", where is said documentation?
