Wow I was blown away at the end when you spun the wheels. They just keep spinning and spinning for ever. Talk about perfect!

Hi Adam, I just purchased one of your Jammin .21 on ebay for my Tmaxx 3.3, and was wondering since it was tuned by you if you could tell me what's the best plug and fuel used please bro. I am so excited to see what it will do. Any help would be so highly appreciated sir. Thank you

Would 0W-20 be good for rubber seal bearings instead of the tri-flo?

Adam question . Once you start on this regime with cleaning and light oiling of bearings do you need to clean and oil them right after use so they don’t seize up? I followed the same regime and raced on a track that was wet when we started. I didn’t get to cleaning the buggy until the next day and some of the wheel bearings had siezed. I managed to free them up as this was only one day but now I’m wondering if I used enough oil on them. Any ideas? Thank Sean NZ
@AdamDrake4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's not a bad idea to oil the bearings and pretty much any of the moving parts. After run oil is really important to have them last a long time especially if it's humid.
@shaneglover99 Жыл бұрын
Can you give me a link to that bearing oil. Also can you give me a link to good Tmaxx bearings. I'm about to buy one of your .21 JPX Jammin engine for the Maxx so want it perfect

do you use NMB's for every bearing in the car or just the wheel bearings? and do you clean and relube a brand new set?
@AdamDrake3 жыл бұрын
All the 8x16x5's and 6x13x5's are NMB bearings. Not when they are new.
@skaargan4 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam, I see almot all NMB bearings i found are metal shielded. Does the metal shielded bearing can hold up outdoor dusty track environment?
@AdamDrake4 жыл бұрын
Yes, they still work great for outdoor racing and they're pretty easy to clean.

Between a metal shield or rubber, which of the two do you think have a better seal against dirt.? What are the pros and cons of rubber and metal ?
@trentmarlowe76555 жыл бұрын
Metal shielded = less friction Rubber shielded = better sealing
@AdamDrake5 жыл бұрын
A rubber seal will seal better, but have more drag.
@mastmec5 жыл бұрын
So you just use metal shielded bearings ? Do you use rubber sealed anywhere on the car ?
@AdamDrake5 жыл бұрын
The inner hub bearings use a rubber seal, but the rest of the bearings I use have a metal shield.

The 8x16x5 and 5x10x4 NMB bearings will work with most 1/8th brands of vehicles.

What about bearing grease to thick?
@AdamDrake3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I prefer the light oil.
@HL-OOI5 жыл бұрын
Basically these bearings do not have grease inside right?
@kruzracing16925 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no grease. The grease would hold dust. Degreaser and brake cleaner would remove grease if it HAD any.
@HL-OOI5 жыл бұрын
kruz racing169 so can I do this with rubber shield bearings? Remove the grease and then oil it..😁
@kruzracing16925 жыл бұрын
