It's certainly worth more than a silver or a black M3. He's gone above & beyond with the repro CSL intake & other stuff to bring this car above/beyond & elevate the thing to something special. I realized I used the same words here but idgaf, who cares honestly? This car is pretty sick, let's hope LZ keeps it for awhile.

I’ve had carbon fiber plenums on two of my E9X M3’s and man, it really sounds great when you have a high flow cat setup. Without cats you can’t hear as much, but I had valves and when they were closed the induction noise was insane. This build is super clean!

"That hole" is for the IAT! Just plug the sensor in and done! Thats the OG placement and sometimes can get thrown off by OFH temps. You may be better off leaving it where it is

A friend off mine built an e46 with a v10 viper engine. Rented it to a guy(lavigna) for the 2017 (I think) italian drift championship who won it all. Then the car got stolen and was never seen again😭

I've had a bunch of E46 M3's over the years. These cars usually sound obnixous when you mess with the exhaust, especially the headers and midpipe. They start getting that Honda rasp/tincan. Not gonna lie, i think Adam really does have the best sounding M3 on the internet, no cap

@@deplorabledave1048 Thanks for the info. However I've heard aftermarket exhaust setups on E46 M3s that also sound extremely raspy, not just stock ones. Some of these exhaust setups were custom and a lot of them were from reputable manufacturers of exhausts.

Make sure the clutch delay valve is removed otherwise the clutch can slip like you experienced.

@@growlith6969 There is something like a valve in the clutch hose that reduces how fast the fluid can go through it. You let the pedal fast, but that valve will make it act like you let the pedal slowly. They use something like that in drag racing, so you could have consistant "clutch release" and get consistant times.

Unpopular opinion: best sounding E46 M3 exhaust? American Racing Headers' 6 into 1 equal length header into a remaining SuperSprint.....sure, you'll lose midrange torque by using their 6 into 1 (but a bunch of everything above 5k), but the sound, the sound with a CSL or CSL style carbon intake is absolutely nuts.... you can keep the torque down low by using BimmerWorld's Equal Length Stepped Long Tubes, to a first section of twin straights with resonators, then a custom 3.5" Y pipe with custom single back to a single in, dual out muffler while keeping "most" of that glorious "6 into 1" sound, you'll keep the torque down low while still making good power up top, but it won't sound AS glorious as a true 6into1 directly. Here I am, I'd just be happy with a nicely setup E46 330i with some M3 goodies and nice fitment 😅

Can tell that you “low key” love bmws with a passion. My First car was a 2002 325xi in 12th grade. And crazy enough, never a problem with the window regulator😂.Sadly had to part away with it. Don't rev the engine cold, wait for OIL temp to go up. You'll be doing rod bearings pretty soon. You need a new oil level sensor, it's not reading your temps. You should do it on your next oil change

no, the proper procedure as per the owner manual is to immediately redline for 15 seconds after starting to get the vanos up to temp. I follow this on my M Roadster and works like a champ.

The E46 M3 has always been my dream car. Ive been looking for a long time. But what you're doing with this is pretty close to what I want.
