I’ve had some weird experiences with this switch for arming my “away guard”. I have a 15 second exit delay after a single press. Many times after a single press I don’t hear the first sound that indicates the countdown to arming has begun. It’s like a “Pling” sound. It’s only happening when the alarm system is armed, and the “beep” to indicate the system has been armed comes 15 seconds later. It’s completely out of sync.
@AdamsTechLife9 ай бұрын
i haven't experienced that before but maybe you could try restarting your aqara hub and trying again? or you could contact aqara for support

hey, I wanted to ask you a question about the aqara smart button, the function I want to give to that smart button is that when you press it, a shortcut that I have made in the ios shortcut app is executed, since I have a shortcut made in which my roborock robot and other accessories that are NOT within the homekit or ¨tuyä app are run, I already have a zigbee smart button and it has been automatically added to the ¨tuyä app and also to homekit because I have a matters zigbee tuya gateway, but I can't get the button to execute a shortcut from the shortcut app that I had already made, does this aqara button give me the ability to do so?
@AdamsTechLife5 ай бұрын
shortcuts from the ios app are not able to be ran from the home app natively. you can use an app called pushcut (i made a video on this) to do it and can run automatically with an automation server.
@mrezedj5 ай бұрын
@@AdamsTechLife But with the Pushcut app could I manipulate an “IOS shortcut” with the Tuya Zigbee smart button?

Hey Adam, how do I do the same you did with the fan, with my curtain? If at 100% then close, what is the otherwise section? Or does it need to be a different shortcut?
@AdamsTechLife Жыл бұрын
the other section can be whatever you want - nothing, control a device, etc. it's up to you. maybe could be if not closed, then open.

Whenever my in-laws visit, they are always turning off my lamps with switch on the lamp which kills power to my smart bulbs. I purchased a bunch of Aqaba sensors for Prime Day - no regrets. They’ve already caught a leak under the kitchen sink, and made controlling my baby’s lights easier with a mini switch on the windowsill next to the rocking chair. I bought way more, but those are just two that have paid immediate dividends. In your automation video, could you go over using the temperature sensors with Ecobee? I have yet to find a good tutorial on it.

Awesome! So it’s supposed to automatically sync to HomeKit in the same room as in the aqara app once the aqara hub is in the home app. If not, you can to your hubs in HomeKit and if you see the aqara hub, tap on it and it should show the device there.
