You are right about the story-telling. Erik for sure knows how to convey. And he does it with his warm, passionate and soothing voice in the beginning. And towards the end: Gently leaves the listener with opportunity to digest and reflects. It almost sounds like a funeral, with the organ in the background! ( And it IS a sad ending.) This cover are a Masterpiece from Erik and Jona. The arrangement and vocals tells the story in a way that got me more than the original did. The house on the picture in the video are an old station house not far from where Erik lives, and are now a pub/restaurant owned by one of Eriks friends. And where this video was made. Erik made a cover of The final countdown by Europe, its a stunning cover. And the arrangement there are also outstanding, quite different from the original. Enjoyed your reaction 😀🇸🇪

Yep... this is his song now. He just owned it. Some of my favorites from him are I Will Always Love You, Dream On, All By Myself, ok, let's be honest, all of it. The man could sing anything and make it interesting. The Baywatch Theme song even... he did that.

I love everything Erik puts out. It's always amazing! If you like the rock cover style of music, I would suggest also that you check out Dan Vsc. He does a collab with Erik called Breaking the Silence. Another cover to check out by him would be Gethsemane. Dan's version of this is stunning!
