Batteries that I recommend based on my reviews can be found at www.iceholepower.com/lithium-batteries

People like you and videos like this will improve batteries for everyone. This type of analysis takes a look behind the curtain of fancy terms and circuits that most casual users dont understand. The companies cant just make a claim, hide their product in a black plastic box, and not follow through with their claims.

I am just now getting to the point in my life (semi-retired), to where I can do projects like building power boxes, use batteries other than 9 volts, AA, AAA, etc. 🤣! What Jeremy provides here has been nothing but enlightenment for me. I am in the process of building a truck camping setup, an adventure trailer setup (kayak, camping, fishing), etc. All of this info will come in handy. Jeremy thank you very much for all the info, you should get paid more for it. Jeremy question for ya brother, do you have a list of what would make the perfect battery? I know you cover a lot in the videos, just curious as to what the perfect battery would consist of, to include ah for projects, e.g. an ammo can power box, is 12 ah best or would would 16 ah be best, those kinds of things? Thanks again for all the info. You da man. Semper Fi!

The more Ah you can have, the better. This battery checked all the marks other than temp protection.

Another great video. Hey, could you do videos on battery chargers made for lithium batteries? After all, buy a lithium battery, buy a battery charger...but which ones are worth the money? Also, in my case, I just purchased a Hobie Pro Angler 14 kayak then purchased a Newport Vessels NK 180 motor which is a 24 volt motor. It looks like all your reviews are on 12 volt batteries...are you going to do any on 24 volt batts? For my kayak I bought a 24 volt 50 amp Enduro lithium battery off of Amazon. Not sure what is a good charger though. Any ideas? Much appreciated, and am enjoying the videos. Oh, do you make any videos about fishing?

I do plan on doing some 24v batteries, I have the same trolling motor. As far as chargers, I have not used this one but it is from a very well respected company in the lithium industry. amzn.to/3l8pnzM

I don't catch enough fish to make videos about it lol

I checked their store info. They make no claims of high or low temp charge cut off on 7.8Ah or 16Ah. They state they offer in the 100Ah battery. Thanks for the video seems like a great battery.

I have a 100Ah on the way. Thanks for watching!

Love the video's and all the information you put out. I did a DIY powerbox a couple years ago after watching your video's and ordered most of the items from your site. Getting ready to make the jump to LiFePO4 batteries for it. My question is on charging. Other than charge time is there a problem with charging a larger battery with a small 3A LiFePO4 charger? Is there a charger out there (I'm looking and looking) that will reliable switch between 3A/10A/etc outputs to match the battery?
@iceholepower80122 жыл бұрын
No, you can charge a bigger battery with a 3A charger without any issues. If you had two of them, you could even double them up for 6A. I don't know of any charger that switches between 3 an 10a outputs.

In an enclosed case I would guess the heat dissipation difference with and without the foam on the heatsink would be fairly minimal, but I would like to see the foam moved to a deeper piece on the bottom of that side. Otherwise, of all the ones you've torn apart, it looks the best build wise. Kinda wish I hadn't just bought the amped one.

Have you tested the Amped outdoors 12v 48 amp battery ? I have had one ordered for livescope. Supply chain issues have been a problem.

No, waiting on them to send me one.

Can 3 of these be hooked up to run as 36v? Looking to put some Lifepo4 batteries on a Razor Dune Buggy to get rid of the SLA batteries but don't want to go Lipo for safety reasons. The description reads "and series (Higher voltage of 24V, 36V, 48V)"

Obviously you are becoming well known for your battery reviews if the manufacturers are sending you batteries to review. I pray that this is typical of the way this company produces all of their batteries.

@@iceholepower8012 That's great, that means it was about as random as possible. As a former test engineer we would figure 3 random samples of the same product would give us a 90% confidence in the test results.

What if u buy a random one thats suppose to be the same then u open it up and its not🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

I think you will see that more with American owned battery companies that jump back and forth between the different Chinese manufacturers. When the company manufacturers and sells the battery, the build quality will be more consistent.

Maybe this battery had more attention to detail knowing they were sending it to you for free to review??
