If anyone is having issues with the retaining pin and the cross pin, there's a 1/16" Allen/hex nut accessible through the hole in the top of the stock. Tighten it down and it's rock solid!

FYI: I went to my local hardware store and bought a paracord bracelet in black. I cut off the plastic buckles and zip tied one end to my stock and began to unravel the bracelet and had a hole for my QD and knotted the end. Seared the ends with a lighter and touch up the ends with an indelible marker. Total cost 3$.

Can you still access the qd point? Edit: I mounted the qd swivel first, then tied up towards it with the paracord tucked behind the metal swivel loop if that makes sense. Results: qd is still removable and is able to swivel about 90 degrees for leftys or rightys.

If you have a different sling attach point, it's great. However, notice it covers up the QD attach point built into the stock. Not sure how much 6.5 ft of paracord weighs, but if you want that "triangle" stock just buy it instead. I do love putting paracord on everything though, so 2 thumbs up.

The hook part at the bottom of the stock can hang up on chest rig straps during reloads. The paracord streamlines the stock, so that it won't hang up. I thought it was gimmicky too, until someone pointed that out. Now, why they charge $25 for 6 feet of paracord, and about 5 minutes of labor. . . ? That I cannot explain.

It only ads half an ounce of weight if done right. Also, qd point is more than accessible when this is tied PROPERLY. Dude in the video didn't properly conjoin around qd but rather took up any adjustable space.

You can still use the QD if you don't weave all the way down. Test and trial. Maybe attach the QD first before you weave it up.

Little late on the response, but when I put this on mine I put my QD ring in first. A little bit of a pain in the ass finishing up (depending on the end you start) but it's good to go after.
