Great story, I also recovering alcohol and crack addict, clean 17 years, had bullets holes in car from being shot at, 4 guns pointed at my head, never caught a case, but never stole, just pond Jewelry, and borrowed money, just a smoker. Also went to program many times, had to move from Chicago to Florida through a recovery program and finally got clean.

@hardknoxtalkspodcast it really is, and someday I would love to tell it, caregiver right now for my 94 year old mom, and my wife that I took out of the shelter, when I went back to the kingdom hall of Jehovah's witness, but now a exjw, due to not agreeing with the teaching and policies of the organization, me my wife and mother, escaped the cult, she has Parkinson's now. So my time is limited.

@@00loudog thanks for sharing. I’ve learned over time that perspective can change the meanings of dates & events. April 20th 2007 was the day that my dad passed. April 20th 2014 was the day I made peace with that date and that my dad is proudly watching over me. That is my belief. Hang in there 🙏🏼
