A lot of Bond movie references in this movie. Specific and generalized. Like in the Bond movies, there are sometimes girls with very erotic/sexual names. Actual Bond girls, Octopussy, Pussy Galore (Alotta Fagina in the movie as a spoof). Dude with the shoe, Random Task (Odd Job throws hat in actual Bond movies). A movie has a girl helping someone with cheating at cards by telling him, but in this movie, this guy just can look through the cards to cheat (cheating at cards in Bond in general). Dr. Evil holding the cat is based on a bond villain, Bond just being irresistible to the ladies plus many others.
@Yngvarfo4 ай бұрын
Dr. Evil not showing his face for a while. The Bond villain went through many movies before we actually saw his face, but Dr. Evil borrows traits from a few other Bond villains as well. There's also the overly elaborate and easily escapable death trap. Bond movies have many of those. The extended cut of the movie elaborates some more on the quickly killed and nameless henchmen.
