I have the same clasp on my Addiesdive and it's the only thing about it I had an issue with. It's kind of sharp, feels a bit pinchy, so I went after it with a little file and some 600 grit paper to round off the edges a bit where it contacts my wrist. Now it's perfect.

I prefer the 36mm Mecha-Quartz version due to the dimensions, it’s also cheaper and just as well made!

Thanks for the review James! There is a very similar (older?) watch from Addiesdive which tends to be even cheaper, the AD2118. But it‘s even thicker and looks kinda ridiculous from the side. So they‘re moving into the right direction I guess.

I bought the quartz version with the sand dial and I love it, really wanted a mechanical version so I am very tempted by this one!

It is a great watch. The bracelet in particular surprised me. At this price they are usually a little bit average.

Yep yep yep... I bought the boring black dial version for $73 but if you don't mind the lack of lume and the thickness, it's is crazy how nice this is for the money. I felt Berny 'Easy Reader' with the high beat ST2130 was the previous best dressy every day watch under $100 but the Addiesdive adds a very decent bracelet and a (probably) more reliable NH35... it's the current king. The Berny is thinner and has decent lume though.

It's funny, each brand can see how many of each type their competition sells on ali so as soon as someone gets a popular dial or case etc, somebody else starts popping them out.

I really like this one apart from one thing which is personally a major deal breaker. That logo... The generic script just makes it look like a £/$10 watch you'd find in a service station. The old logo wasn't the best but even that looked better than this one.

Hard disagree, yes this logo could be more interesting, but it's 1000% better than the old logo. The old logo is fine on their dive watches, but totally out of place IMO on a dressier piece like this.

The main spring fully charged vs almost empty does affect the rate. But once on wrist and being auto wound it should be relatively consistent.
