Where did you get your doc brown audio file for your welcome message on the radio

my radio wont detect any new files added, but if I rename a new one to the a default one like fm-1 it detects and plays it.. any help?

Hi. After adding voices for switches like "arm" - "disarm" it keeps talking for almost all switches positions on the power on the transmitter and I don't know why..? Is there a way to have these voice hints only when I switch something and not on every time starting the transmitter..? After "Welcome to open tx") I hear arm mode, fly mode, pre-arm mode, and many more one after another which is so annoying.

One workaround I can think of is to create multiple tracks, cut the voice lines you need, and paste every individual one into a different track. Then click "solo" on the track that has the voice line you want and export the whole thing. If anyone has a better solution, let us know lol!

Awesome series Steve, I'm a newbie to FPV and just bought this Radio. So, I was very happy to find your series. One question I have, When charging the battery with the on board charger how do you know when its finished charging? I saw the power on light was light when I plugged in the cable But, I didn't know what to look for to indicate that the Battery is fully charged. Thanks Mike

Mike, I have been charging the batteries outside of the radio on a wall charger. if i remember correctly, my taranis light went out when it was charged. foggy memory though

If you turn off the radio, then plug in the USB C cable into the BOTTOM of the TX16S; the green light (power) is on while charging, when it’s finished charging the green light goes off.

If you are talking about the one on SC, that is one I stole from my Taranis X9D because i broke a switch on my TX16S when I first got it. I stole the switch from the X9D and the black switch nut did not fit with the new switch so I used it too.

Very cool do you go to Themes folder to load start up message ?

No. go to \SOUNDS\en\SYSTEM and look for the hello file. Make your new start up message, dump it in that folder and name it hello (you'll need to delete or rename the original hello file).

Will check out your other vids, I make good use of my PC (Music I have a DAW) so this was way easy to understand thanks for the settings for samples 16000hz and .wav 16bit nice also audacity is nice I use it all the time. OBS & Bandicam are free and audacity will convert MP4 to wav no problems ;)
