Good Video. One helpful tip to share. 1 ounce of Perfect Weekly is needed for every 2000 gallons of water, so for a person who doesn't want to use the cap and guess, they can use a measuring cup to apply the right amount of product. 4 ounces for an 8000 gallon pool, 5 ounces for a 10000 gallon pool, 6 ounces for 12000 gallon pool, 7 ounces for 14000 gallon pool. In the case of your 15000 gallon pool, it would be 7.5 ounces.

Surprised you mentioned you were going to shock after this. I was told by Leslie's to wait between 24-48 hours before shocking, otherwise the shock would kill off any of the enzymes that the Perfect Weekly added.

Thank you for this. just started using perfect weekly today and was taken by surprise at the brownish color of the product. good to know it's normal :)

Laura Harhay, yes, it is a little unsettling thinking about putting that dark liquid into your beautiful blue pool, but that's the way it looks. And everything works out just perfectly!

Can I broadcast this product across the pool instead down the skimmer
@texasknowhow31432 жыл бұрын
The directions call for application in the skimmer. I’m not sure of the pros or cons of broadcasting it. You do want pool pumps circulating so skimmer should he your best bet.

I was relieved to see the brown as well. I bought the bottle last year and was thinking it might have gone bad

We call them "skimmers" down here in Texas.

When would it be considered safe to go back in the pool for a swim? The bottle talks about 48 hours of circulation, but who wants to use their pool three or four times a week? I would try to use my pool every day if I could.
@texasknowhow31436 жыл бұрын
Richard, I'm not quite sure. I looked at the directions and it mentioned nothing in regards to wait time or circulation. I have gone in shortly after applications before. You may want to contact the the maker if concerned. Let me in the loop if you find out. Thanks.

hi, there is no wait time. i wait 15 min

Most enzymes want you to run the pump and filter 24-48 hours however with perfect weekly you can swim 30 minutes later no problem

No algae since I've put this in use in our pool. I like the product but it's a bit expensive. I only buy it on sale and when I have Leslie's cash. $47'ish is about right.
@kelseyd965 жыл бұрын
use ebay or amazon. Much cheaper than leslies. Poolperfect PhosFree 3 liter: $30
