Hello again my friend As for the weather, yes this spring was a very poor one, wet cold and windy, nobody talks and complains about the weather as much as us in England, our colonies over here have been slow to build up too, and I have been having problems with Queens, either going queenless or failing or they have superceded their Queen, really weird spring altogether, anyway I'll finish up now so love to the family stay safe and I'll catch you on the next one, Neil

@@FernvalleyFarm I have the same problems, I don't think it's the Queens I think the biggest part it's down to the poor spring weather, in my area others are saying the same thing, wish I could help you out and send you a few nucs, best of luck

I think your 3rd frame had a queen cell on it, maybe it had swarmed?

I'm not an expert by any means but do you have a laying queen in these colonies? They seem awful small in numbers for this time of year. I didn't see you check for brood of any kind.

Yeah I hear what you're saying it's been a really strange year and those colonies are not growing like they should but there is a bunch of caped brewed in there I've already checked it so I'll let them go what they're doing right now I won't be adding another honey box the top boxes are pretty heavy now
