Bro, when my man was replaying how Addison/Padget acts when Tanner/Cameron was talking about his Mom passing is so CRINGE! Like WTC (What in The Cringe) did I just watched. 1/10 haven't even seen it, but just scrolling on Netflix, seeing the trailer, and Alex's is review, it just sounds and looks stupid. Remaking a classic with horrible writing and cast, what was the casting person thinkin? Edit: I love Tanner, but why did he had to do the film?
@avni56033 жыл бұрын
ok but in the movie why was padget embarrassed of her mom being a nurse tho? isn't that a respectable job? especially during this whole covid thing-
@PaulinaHerries3 жыл бұрын
It's never explicitly said that she's embarrassed of that. Actually, her friends know her mom is a nurse and I believe she tells Cameron at some point as 'a matter of fact' and not really as a confession. They make it look like if Padgett would've never thought that her mom's profession would hint on her true household income. So weird, I know. But well, when her friends confront her about it, they actually start with that piece of info, as to say that "Dah, it's a no brainer". Personally I think that's just lazy writing. The only way Padgett could've sustained such a big lie for so many years is if she had a tangled web of lies going on. She could've explained her supposedly rich life if she had a real or imaginary rich dad living somewhere else who allegedly supported her and her mom, then the lie could've had a greater impact. Also, it's very strange how supportive her mom is with it. It would be a different story if she had just come clean about her income and said that everything she had was made out from her hard work. I think that's cooler than a your parent's wallet, because from what they show in the movie, she was doing pretty good for a teenager.

I just realized that the movie is exactly like Addison's dating life. She went from Bryce Hall, the popular arrogant kid to dating a rapper with a beanie and long hair. And their high school is social media.

8:06 That happened in S3E2 or 3 of Cobra Kai (made by Netflix), starring Tanner Buchannan, funnily enough. Edit: Oh yeah, also the fight scene. This movie is just what happened to Robby in between S2 and S3.

True! Madison Pettis is an actual actor with skills and experience. I don’t understand why she wasn’t the main character here.

The guy playing Cameron is on Cobra Kai, that’s probably why he’s so fit. Also, Cobra Kai is something I’d rather be watching than this movie.

Dude tanner was giving us such a great role. Honestly it seems like when he was talking to Addison he literally gives the reactions like "This is who I got stuck with?"

@@toonpacha2396 separate the character from the actor please. I’m so tired of seeing actors get hate because of their CHARACTERS ACTIONS. Example: Wyatt Russel (who played John Walker.) had to delete his Instagram acc since he was getting literal death threats because of his character. Pls just don’t hate in an actor because of their character.

Omg what you said about Maddison Pettis hating Addison Rae for taking the spotlight when she’s been acting since she was a kid is so true. The other actors actually have had some acting experience and I feel like they were just tryna make Addison look better.
