I am still waiting (impatient) for my first kit. And have watched a lot of videos about it. But i really would like one about ergonomic. How to avoid pain in arms, neck, shoulders etc. I hope you will make one. And what can we do if it is wrinkled or somethin back on the canvas. I have seen plenty explaining how to fix the glue side. Thanks.

Hi Rebecca. What kit is best for a beginner, partial drill or a full drill. Flowers, animals nature etc. Thanks for your help.
@addmorezest5 жыл бұрын
Hi Robbi, if you're just starting out and aren't sure if you will like it then I suggest a partial; however, if you generally like crafts and are sure you'll like it, then a full drill will be fine. I would start with a simple rather than busy image as you can do a smaller one and still like the finished look as it won't be too pixelated. I'd also be tempted to do round first as it is easier. I hope that helps.

Hi there, are you planning on selling any completed kits and to make a living out of Diamond Painting. If you are (or if you are doing so now), what is the best way to go about doing it and to see if there is a market for completed Diamond Paintings including Custom Design photo to Diamond Painting.
@addmorezest3 жыл бұрын
hi Emma, I don't sell any of my completed kits, the time put into them just wouldn't pay enough to do it for a living. I have done some for family, but that is more of a gift than anything else.

I’d like to know how do you sort out the drills to put them in jars.Like you have the real shiny ones then you have the dull ones. I thought if you have number one then everyone that has that colour will be number one. Or should I try and get the DMC colour chart that there is as when you have cross-stitch.Thank you have so much.

Sorry if you have already covered this.....do you know a way to remove the excess glue around the drilling area when the glue is poured instead of the double sided tape? Thanks so much, sweetie!!
@tessthemess29055 жыл бұрын
Hi Dawne Lee, you can use washi tape around the extra. Washi tape does not stick permanently and pretty easy to remove.
@addmorezest5 жыл бұрын
Hi Dawne, just as Tess said - Washi tape is best for the poured glue. I've not found anything that will remove it. you could use talcum powder if you want to stop it being sticky.

This was very helpful. Are the identifying numbers for the colors of the diamonds the same across the board? In other words, is pink labeled with the same numbers for all kits?
@addmorezest4 жыл бұрын
Some of them are very similar across the board, so if they have the DMC or EMC number they will be the same (apart from a slight variation in Dye lots). Some kits don't come with the number though unfortunately.

Are all the colors for the canvas, universal on all kits?
@addmorezest8 ай бұрын
While diamond painting drills come in 400-500 colours the ones used for each painting do vary. The DMC numbers (if shown on the canvas) don't change, which ones are used and the symbols on the canvas do change between each painting.

When you start diamond painting how do you keep the paper sticky? Does it every dry out? I always wondered about that because i am a beginner at diamond painting and i have no idea how to do it but very much interested in it.
@addmorezest4 жыл бұрын
The glue on the canvas stays sticky for ages. It tends to have a protective cover over it to stop it getting dust and fluff on it.
@franclark4674 жыл бұрын
Hi, I have a question. you save your extra diamonds and you put them together with previous diamonds of the same color. I have been doing the same thing. I have noticed sometimes they a slightly different shades of the same color. has this happened to you. also I just kitted up a new DP and noticed two of my colors have slightly different shades in the same bag. has this ever happened to you.
@addmorezest4 жыл бұрын
Yes it happens to me often, but I figured if I need to use one of my spares I can always pick the closest match to the colour I've ran out of. Or for projects I can potential mix and match them up a bit depending on the design.

How do you use the wax
@tessthemess29055 жыл бұрын
Hi Diana, you can pull back one piece of the protective cover, and then just poke the wax with the end of your drill pen. As you pick up your first few beads the extra wax will come out the edges. just wipe it off and you are ready to go... until it stops being sticky.
