Youre a minor with GD. Not trans. You wont know if you are truly trans until adulthood. If at 25 you feel the same way then your gender dysphoria may be lifelong. Most people grow out of gender dysphoria. I had it starting at 4 or 5 grew out of having it by 18. And yes puberty was horrible but im so grateful I didnt transition. I was born in 1990 so no one offered transition to me. Im so thankful I grew up when I did.

I always tell people who are pro trans surgeries for kids this story from my life. "When I was in high school, I had a boyfriend who presented fully as a girl, passed completely. As adults we met up again and now he changed to be an extremely masculine fit guy and I had transitioned in my twenties. Complete reverse from childhood. " Just shows we don't know what we want until we're adults.

When I was a kid there was a girl at school who was a classic "Tom Boy". She loved to play football with us (soccer) and went in hard on the tackles, often getting a few red cards for almost breaking peoples ankles. She would run around in the woods with us, have swords fights (with sticks obviously) and had no problem getting dirt under her fingernails. Anyway I met up with her almost 30 years later (yes I'm old), and she was one of the most feminine women you can imagine. Hair down to her bum, expensive manicure and very feminine but conservative clothing. She was married, had a couple of kids and she had quit work to look after them because she wanted to be a housewife. Today she would be convinced she's trans and likely end up sterile and utterly depressed.

As an adult trans male, CHILDREN CANNOT CONSENT TO MEDICAL TRANSITION! I specifically waited till I was 18 to transition since, thanks to Blarie (I started watching her at the age of 14), I researched a lot of studies that said that most children grow out of gender dysphoria. I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t one of those children that outgrew my gender dysphoria but started transition (especially medical transition). I literally told myself, “If I still feel the same way at 18 then I’ll transition.” When I turned 18 and didn’t grow out of my gender dysphoria, that’s when I began my social transition and, shortly after, my medical transition. Continue being the voice of reason Blarie! I know most of our (trans) community doesn’t support you, but I do! Thank you Blarie for teaching me to be smart about my transition throughout the years. I have a very similar story to you. Wanted a male voice as young as 7, always called myself a boy online whenever I could reasonably be perceived as one, very much a ‘tomboy’, started wondering if I was trans around 12, seriously considered transitioning around 15; Going into highschool, I knew I’d have to choose if I wanted to go in as a girl, or a boy. I decided I needed to at least *try* to be a girl, and if I still felt the same after highschool I could transition. The entire time I was so uncomfortable and continued to dress masculinely, while being perceived as a masculine woman. No matter how much I wanted to transition, I wanted to be sure it wasn’t something I would grow out of, so was steadfast to ‘playing girl’ until I was an adult. I ended up changing my name among friends to my current more masculine name senior year, and began my social transition to male a few months after I graduated, a few months before turning 18. I started hormones about a year later. The main reason I put off transitioning is because I live in Canada and lots of people around me were trans, and for a long time I was convinced the dysphoria I was feeling was manufactured by the culture and people around me. It was only after I became isolated from my old majority-lgbt friendgroup and the feelings persisted I started taking them more seriously. Let me tell you, I wish it was a phase. I wish so badly I could just be a normal girl. It would make my life so much easier; Everyone who accepts me as trans isolates me for my political views, and everyone who accepts my political views isolates me for being trans. Many people on the right don’t recognize the mental turmoil common-sense trans people go through, where the dysphoria must be so bad that we would rebuke known science and the ‘easy path’ in favor of merely imitating the sex we feel like. If there was a pill I could take to make me normal, I would take it, the same way I would take a pill to make me a cisgender male. Despite the mental turmoil I go through as a very science-minded person, I love how I look and am perceived now. It just feels natural. I had always been considered a somewhat attractive person, but never *felt* attractive until after transitioning, where I can look in the mirror and see myself staring back. Before it always felt like I was inhabiting someone else’s body, and now I am free to be perceived how I feel. I’ll be one year on T February 28th :) Thank you for sharing your story :)

The wait list for my countries national healthcare service is upwards of 5-8 years. Wow, that sounds really difficult, but I am very glad to hear you are doing better now. People forget that actual gender dysphoria is a complex, if rare, psychiatric disorder that can cause extreme distress and discomfort. They latch onto "being trans" (ie living/presenting as the opposite gender) as a quirky personality trait, when it's so much more. There is also this major myth that sex reassignment surgery is this magical cure for dysphoria, and it's so not true- psychotherapy and CBT can be effective treatments as well, and about 80% of gender dysphoria cases "resolve" themselves before adulthood. This isn't to say transitioning isn't the correct choice for adults with persisting symptoms, obviously that's sometimes the only way ppl with GD can get on with their lives. But I applaud and encourage you to share experiences like yours, mental illnesses, especially in children who's brains are still developing, are varied and often misunderstood disorders. (Sorry for the rant, I don't have GD but I do have a different mental illness, I tend to ramble when I'm passionate about something- like mental health awareness and advocacy)

More like “just because I said five year old trans kids are groomed and indoctrinated to be trans, doesn’t mean I was when I was a five year old trans kid. Because…reasons.” She didn’t really fix that hypocrisy, about what makes her different to other trans kids who do exist. She acted like the hypocrisy was about kids taking hormones, when that wasn’t the case. You can see that in the tweets she has on screen. Just because she didn’t know what trans meant as a kid doesn’t mean she wasn’t a trans kid.

Story time; I took my 11yo daughter (who has a fohawk because she likes it and wears alt clothing just like i did when I was her age) to the doctor for her yearly physical, because of her hair cut the doctor asked her if she was trans and then tried to make me leave the room when she said "no, why would you think that?" They were furious I wouldn't leave the room because they thought she was "scared to say anything " in front of me??? I'm sorry but who the hell are you? I am not leaving the room period because people are gross and why would you be unable to ask that line of questions in front of the parent? It's just so bizarre to me that at a check up, not a psych evaluation or anything like that, a check up the doctor is trying to convince my daughter she is trans because she has short hair and was wearing an anime shirt. Growing up in a conservative household that perpetuated gender stereotypes on me definitely played a massive role in that. Thankfully the kid is living with their loving aunt and are just letting them be a kid.

I have Aspergers too. All that insanity would have really messed with me as a kid, I wanted to belong so badly and had trouble finding out why I couldn't. With my own children, who clearly got some autistic traits, I found Christianity helps a whole lot! (it really helps me too! But speaking for the problem at hand) Clear moral guidelines, formulated with love. The feeling of being loved by your creator also helps immensly, if you feel that your peers are not loving you atm. It also helps with a sense of connection to the world and other people, all that I wanted so badly as a child. Aspergers comes with problems and gifts. When we can harness the gifts for ourselves and others, the problems are easier to bear. Children who are clearly rooted have an easier time with this. If we just push children into tik tok, not giving them a foundation to build their life upon, thy will grasp every straw that comes their way. Without any life experience of more sinister people out there...

The truth is many young people and kids think they'll never want kids but end up having them anyways, I know that's very controversial to say nowdays because having kids is not seen as a popular thing but it's just the truth that it's super common for people to change their mind about kids, and yes there's exceptions but there's also the survivorship bias, we'd hear more about people who decided to not have kids and never regretted it because they stand out and it's the agenda society is pushing. These parents claimed that their 2yo daughter was trans before she could talk because she didn’t like wearing dresses AND THEN THEY TRANSITIONED HER. It does happen that parents make assumptions about their children based almost solely upon gender non-conformity. But also like… think about it. If you’re a little 2yo trying to play on the floor and climb and do all the physical play that children need, wouldn’t wearing cumbersome tutu dresses drive you mad? I was born in 1991 and no one batted an eyelash at a girl in leggings and a turtleneck and I’m grateful that my parents gave me clothing options for play and didn’t make a big deal out of these things and just let me be a kid in imagination land.

That’s kinda the whole point of the people who are pushing this insanity. Once enough of society agrees without question that children should be able to consent to this, the next insane argument they start pushing to become mainstream is the belief that children can consent to sex. Mark my words! It’ll be “we all agree that kids are mature enough to consent to medical decisions so why are we arguing that they can’t consent to sex?” That’s where this is all leading. Actually, there are already groups of people making this argument. MAPS on Twitter openly argue it all the time and Twitter knew and refused to do anything about it. The same people have been pushing to be included into the LGBT and I’ve even seen professors arguing they should be accepted. Democrats have already started by trying to get the voting age lowered to 16. Little by little they’re trying to eliminate the belief that children can’t consent.

This is a REALLY good point on why it's such an ADULT decision to make. Blaire is killing it, plenty of adults who made intentional, planned transitions are thriving. But medical intervention and surgery isn't something you just get do-overs on. Not without compounding the risk of serious side effects with every dice roll, especially once one of them goes wrong. Did your aesthetic change at all between 14-26? What if 14 you chose the permanent paint color of your bedroom for the next 30 years, would you have ANY concern letting them pick that with 0 research? Now let them pick the Dr. who agrees with you on how best to contour your face without turning you into a duckbill clown. Let that 15 yr old try to vet a top surgeon who has 0 incentive to admit their malpractice rate to you. Transitioning well is difficult, you owe it to future you to make sure you do it with consideration and planning, and that's something an adult should spend years working on.

If I grew up in modern times with leftist parents then I would probably be an extremely messed up individual today. I experienced gender dysphoria as a child for a few years. It was a phase. I completely grew out of it. But let me be clear, it was a definite struggle to understand who I was. I used to sit in the bathroom and wish for god to change my gender lmao 😂 but anyway, I would’ve given modern leftist parents plenty of ammo to push me towards transitioning and it would have been a monumental mistake. In the next few years we’re going to see a boom of detransitioners and it’s going to shut this convo up once and for all (or at least the child transitioners part of the convo).

These changes can be reversed easily, i can grow out my hair, do fem make up buy new clothes etc. I know testosterone is avilabe for me since the age of 16 where i live (and so are any operations but most doctors wont agree to give them to you until you're 18) but i much rather get fully diagnosed before (i struggle with a potential personality disorder so i cant get so diagnosed yet i have to go through therapy first). And i think people should realise that they can transition in a way that they can reverse and not do decisions as minors that they MIGHT regret one day. All my life I had been considered a ‘tomboy’ and bullied for ‘being a lesbian’ purely because I liked ‘boy things’. I remember when I started going through the early stages of puberty how upset and angry I was when I started to develop breasts because it meant that I wouldn’t be able to just go and swim topless in my underwear anymore, or readily do the sports and activities that I wanted to do without having to cater to my breasts. I subsequently struggled with gender identity and thought ‘maybe I’m meant to be a boy’ because all my life society had already influenced me in to thinking that I was a lesbian with ‘boy hobbies’. I figured ‘I’ve been told all my life that my hobbies are meant for boys, I’m supposedly romantically attracted to women, and I hate the idea of having breasts’, when in actuality, I just didn’t like how breasts were starting to influence my active and carefree lifestyle. I’m now a happy heterosexual 20-something year old woman who absolutely identifies with being a female. I feel so grateful that I didn’t have access to these treatments growing up, because I genuinely fear that at the time I would have pursued them because my experience didn’t fit societies expectations of being a female.

I knew about all the dangers of transitioning prematurely and realised that I don't want to risk my life so early over how I felt. I wore boyish clothes, acted male, got shorter haircuts yada yada. Did I still hate my body? Yes. Did I ever regret not fully transitioning at such a young age? Nope. Even when I was on the far left, I never advocated for medical transitioning of children and teenagers. Why is there a need for children to medically transition? Why can't we just socially accept them first? What's the harm of loving them for who they are, treating them accordingly, but not allowing kids to go under a surgeon's knife? I truly don't get it.

She is just saying that people should wait until they have enough life experience, information, and maturity before making such a drastic life altering decision based on those feelings. I don't understand why people find that to be such an unreasonable request. She's also brings up the issue that a lot of these kids are claiming to be trans just because it's a trendy thing to do. Then after a while they realize they don't actually feel that way. What if one of those kids went out and had a surgery or started a chemical change just because they thought it was trendy for a couple of years. That would be absolutely tragic! Ms.Blaire you have opened my eyes to the trans community and helped me see it in a different light. I never quite understood the whole meaning of Trans nor did I care for it. But I love your videos and I love you as a person. You speak facts and are a good role model for others to look up to. Thank you for helping me understand better

I resonate with this so hard. As far back as I can remember I've never wanted kids, I still don't. But the thought of getting knocked up (as a biological female) has been so terrifying for me that it dictated my sex life and gave me extreme anxiety. I got sterilized at 28 but I had wanted the surgery since I was a teen. I'm so glad I waited to MAKE SURE that PERMANENT change was something I wanted. Try finding a doctor who will tie a consenting adult female's tubes, its SO HARD. But children can easily get puberty blockers and medical gender affirming surgery. Make that make sense.

I was 22 years old with two children under the age of two and they tied my tubes. Then my husband and I divorced and I met my current husband and we talked about having our own child together, but they only gave us a 40% chance of success and it will cost about $15,000. So instead we adopted.

They are so MAD that you ACTUALLY HAVE INDIVIDUALITY... most people on social media are empty on creativity, INDIVIDUALITY or ability to mind their own damn business at least some times.

I am still not convinced "gender" actually exists and ive been thinking about it for years. Nobody who has these strange genders in their bio can actually explain what gender is in a way thats easily understood.

I can. Gender is a simple concept actually. People won't like it but here I go- Gender is an EMOTION. People these days feel one way, say a masculine man (which is funny cause that's not an actual feeling but that's the only explanation givin) and some days people will feel feminine (which I don't understand how a man can feel like a woman when men can't experience womanhood at all, ever.) So you pick one feeling and stick to it that day of the week. If that don't work, you just change genders and call yourself trans. Now, this was more of a comedic take on modern Gender but in reality, there's only 2. Male, and female.

gender is just the social “markers” (behaviors, social norms, expectations, etc) of the sexes. It can change depending on the culture, or society. It’s pretty simple concept, which is all socially constructed. People can argue with me but that’s the literal definition and what I learned in my genetics class. We had a whole section of gender vs sex. Gender is socially constructed. Sex is biological and determined in your genetics.

When I was in middle school a friend of mine had gone through something very traumatic and for a good year and a half she identified as a boy I am pretty sure out of a self preservation response to what she went through she eventually stopped wanting to be called a boy but I feel that really underlines how kids dealing with gender dysphoria should be given good psychological care rather than a transition opportunity

Idk have you met most psychologists? I think you’d get better care for your children from a hungry tiger. Most of them are woke and way into this transition business.

Unfortunately I feel like this is the case for so many trans and nb people. Therapy before (or instead of) transition 100%!

“Mommy I like pink and girl things” that’s it, let’s start the hormones.. like wtf. That should never happen. I’m a gay man and for years I would play Disney princess and wear my hoodie on my head draped down my back like it was long hair. I would also perform Britney Spears dressed as a woman for my family at 4 and 5. I would have definitely gave my “consent” to be a girl. That was a dream back then for years. But I am not transgender and in no way had the ability to determine that. How would I? I was 5! That’s so fucked up and parents are ruining their kids life with that shit. There is such a small percent of true transgenders. This whole thing is a appropriated mess that is so new nobody has really seen the repercussions of all this.m (I mean the general public). Just being gay can be enough of a problem for a kid. No human needs these flames fanned right out the gate, it’s creating issues. I love you screaming this shit from roof tops. Yell louder. You are so right, let everybody know. The world rn literally needs your take. You are right about alll of this and cut straight through all the fuckin politicized bs. Thank you. Just using my brain, you are (one of) the first person I’d turn to for a take.. Clearly there is a big group of people within the trans community (AND THE LEFT) that just push a dangerous narrative/rhetoric and AGENDA. I’m sorry you have to deal with them. I love to see it though… also I had no idea you sat down with Candace Owens and she said, no yelled that at you (or about you like you weren’t even in the room) smh. She drudgingly got my follow recently and she just lost it.

lets re-unite the LGBT and drop the BS letters like the QITTAAPP++++11 and all that bs people use as their personality. as a trans person, i wish more in the community were like you. I see a lot of other lgb people who arent trans become yes men for the trans activists and its like just stop, you dont even know how wrong you are!

Thank you and Lol I call it the lgbtqlmnop, with the P being a pedophile push from the left. I think it just comes down to people not using critical thinking and exactly what you said, using all that as their personality. There’s an agenda pushed into it all that people who don’t think, miss. Then they are rewarded for their virtue signaling like they are “activists”. They just become mouth pieces. It’s like a trap people blindly walk into. Also I can’t imagine being a trans person knowing firsthand the (at least potential, even probable) horrific things one might face in our society (or their body) and NOT being the first person to tell youth woah, hold up. Here’s an air of caution and be sure and aware of these things. The notion of that seems to attemptedly be demonized by a whole big sect of people. It’s preposterous and alarming. Then we have people like Candace owens and Matt Walsh, who have a platform and agree, but go to the length of throwing all transgenders under the bus with them. All because they can’t expect that being a transgender is a real fucking thing. Honestly I don’t even think they except gay people like they say they do. they just HAVE to act like it. People just miss the complications and layers to it all, so much gets lost in translation. This is what happens when we are forced to except things without actually excepting them. It’s almost like 2 steps forward 3 steps back at this point. We need at least a bit more than “tolerance” OR critical thinking across the board. Some need both… Edit: Sorry I wrote you a book😅 (I don’t get to express these thoughts much)
