I worked in contemporary fashion retail 30 years ago, and we had paid live models in the windows every weekend. The models enjoyed it, and so did the customers. Sometimes I worry for the younger generations, why does everything have to be a controversy. There are legitimate problems to focus on in the world, this is not one of them.

Stephanie started as a makeup you tuber. She moved to doing videos as a contrast to all the kardashion era influence on young girls by pointing out how their looks aren’t natural. Also she contacted Tamara several times to offer to take her out of the video and got no reply. I do agree she should credit other you tubers in her videos though. And she talks so fast it gives me anxiety lol

What was the strike about? I don’t get it. Public broadcasts are public, apart from claiming the ownership of someone’s content or using someone’s music without permission. Should Trump strike the broadcasts that extract his idiocies from conservative podcasts? The fact that someone doesn’t like being scrutinized for the stuff they do, does not entitle anyone to act so militantly as Tamara did. We are heading for a massive downfall of our democratic civilization if the petty dictators will be giving us authorization about what shall we say about them. Good on you for standing up for your friend Jessie, as well as Tamara, regarding attribution! As a librarian and former college instructor (I have multiple graduate degrees) I cannot stress enough the importance of attributing sources. Stephanie needs to work on self-awareness, empathy, and professionalism. Stephanie cannot whinge about the two weeks spent on creating her video and then turn around and not consider the time and energy put into videos by the creators she has stolen from. What Stephanie has done is intellectual property theft. No attribution of sources = plagiarism = theft. Honestly, some of these creators need to realize that they are not an island, they are part of a community, whether they like it or not. That means at the very least they should act ethically and cordially.

I don’t like Tamara’s videos and watched Stephanie’s second video (about Tamara’s copyright strike). I feel so stupid because I watched her video and believed she was being treated badly by Tamara. I only watched the OG video because of the second video. I feel such a fool. I stopped watching her a while ago when she made a video about bodies, size or something and I couldn’t help think you look like you live off air and your going chat as if you have a leg to stand on. Sigh. Re: the makeup, makes perfect sense to me!! Mainly because i've been really sick all week with a terrible ear infection and also ended up getting pinkeye (never had it in my life but apparently can happen if you have another infection)--and my doctor said "get rid of every bit of your makeup." She saw the sadness on my face and she then said "yep. Every bit." So i had to clear the decks with the exception of lipsticks!!! Um, yeah, if I ever find myself at a dinner where they are serving food off a naked person? I'm scared of these people, and looking for the door. I laughed outloud at the chubby fruitfly and how he was moving. ha. Sigh. Wish I lived closer to LA so I could see Teruko's show. I have a feeling i'd want to see it more than once. Thanks for touching on the state of the art scene. You are pretty much spot on. I wouldn't necessarily say the rich, it's a new rich that includes the low class mobster class that promote by nepotism and not merit or talent. That's what the New World Order is based on. The reason they have "modern museums" is to mask their art's ugly, hideous, infantile technique. I was in a museum in Milano last summer and the art is sublime and interesting to see the detail and messages in the art...a feast for the eyes and the brain! As I was heading near the exit, there was a section of more modern art, I know one piece was a Picasso and so on. I have lost all respect for Picasso, he must be one of the first artists being pushed, his art could not hold a candle to the other renaissance artists in the museum. nNow his daughter Paloma Picasso is carrying the torch. You have the power to create your ideas on your KZbin show. Pool your money together with others and create your own line of make up or clothes.

I have family members who adopted babies. $$ was not an object. They were lucky to adopt at all. They didn't try for any baby who looked like them. They wanted a baby & I think that 99% of people who adopt, are thrilled to be able to realize their dreams, regardless of color or sex. I also think that you may HEAR that a certain couple has adopted, but surrogacy is usually hush hush in $$ circles. Our adopted family members are perfect, just like every biological child.
