I disagree with the minimum wage comment. Whether you make $100 or $100,000 you will feel violated if someone invades your space and you will be affected by theft. Being a person of means doesn't necessarily mean that everything you have and everything within reach is disposable, gratitude exists in every tax bracket

We were robbed once when I was a kid. We didn't have much at that time, they just took our video tape recorder, my baptem necklace and a piece of jewelry from my deceased aunt. These were the only valuables items we got and we were so sad to loose the only thing that belonged to my aunt. That's also an awful feeling, thinking that someone violated your privacy and took from you the only tangible memories from your loving ones.

This kind of robbery has nothing to do with the French economy. These are big international gangs who target wealthy people specifically for this purpose. It's not just people who saw her with a Birkin and thought about how much money they could get from reselling it. They targeted specifically her handbags and jewelry because they have clients who will pay for those things, likely in eastern Europe. This is organized crime, not an opportunistic robbery.

It does seem targeted. I cringe for influencers when they share their homes and glimpses of their surroundings as it is so easy for potential robbers to find you and know the layout of your home. I guess this is why Jeffrey Star had a volt with security and a finger print access to prevent someone coming in and stealing it all.

She also has a lot more in London, at her sister's home, which is where she lived before moving to Paris with her boyfriend. I am glad she is safe, loved what she said: things are to be used, people are to be loved. Despite her wealth, entrepreneur lifestyle and connection, she always comes across kind, down to earth and hard working.

I thought it was actually a fair estimate. She was wearing a lot of the designer pieces. Most of her collection is designer costume and has more sentimental than market value. Even factoring in her watches and bags, $300,000 sounds about right.

Hi, in one video Tamara said her father was the founder of the forst private hospital in Yugoslavia. So she has never been poor, to my knowledge. Maybe the only poorness-related experience in her life was the war.

I had watched a video where Tamara talks about her life as a child and her family does has Pharmacy now in Serbia but she does talk about being refugees I forget from where but the settled in Serbia and had to rebuild from scratch which is why she says humble beginnings. Also the apartment that she filmed a tour in isn’t the apartment she was currently living at the time the robbery took place it was a completely different location. in the longrun its never about the amount you lost but the feeling of being violated. it is always in your head and consciousness; is someone following me or is someone watching. After our burglary I never move into a new house without getting the security turned on first and locks changed because its when you are vulnerable and are not familiar with everything in the house.

Tamara give way too much informations (to potential thiefs) in her videos since she live in France. I think few years ago when she lived in GB I reacted to a video (I don't remember which one) and send her a message to gave her an advice don't put on your videos where you're going for business trips or whatever until you come back home. Because burglars watch KZbin too. Another time, she was living with her sister and little nephew and she shows us the street through the window. I was shocked because her sister used to always make a point not to appear in front of the camera. I hope Tamara will be be more careful, I am sorry for her. Unfortunately, insurance doesn't really reimburse when you have such expensive bags unless you do what's called a rider for each one. It makes sense to obtain a rider for valuable paintings, but not dozens of handbags.

A few thoughts… Watching YT is a voluntary act so I will never understand people who spread negativity on the platform. Whether it is your channel, Tamara’s, or any other creator’s content they can simply stop the video and move on. To troll is so petty and rude and shows to me that they are jealous of you and your platform. I am sorry that you have to deal with that but just think they are increasing your view count! As far as Tamara’s video I have to say that I wasn’t put off by her putting an approximate value on the stolen goods. I think she wanted to give context to the scope of the loss and also knew that inquiring minds would want to know so she addressed it in a straightforward way. If you watch an old video where she shares her jewelry collection you can hear just how much she loves certain pieces and the meaning they have to her. There was one piece, I think it was a dice bracelet from LV and she attaches a lot of sentimentality to it that it makes me feel bad knowing that it is probably gone. How infuriating to know that someone out there is profiting off your possessions. If the beneficiary of the stolen goods was someone in a desperate situation it would almost take away a tiny bit of the sting but I would imagine that criminals executing such a sophisticated operation would already be people of great means (although gained in a nefarious way).

My house was broken into when I was sleeping a decade ago and I only just now feel like I've gotten over the trauma...mostly...it happened when I was a kid at my window too but they ran away when THE WHOLE WINDOW FELL OUT. Guess the cheap apartments didn't seal the window properly and it was raining. I was 7 years old saw a flash and 1 or 2 men then rain in my room

I agree. Coming from a 3rd world country myself, when my fone was snatched in Paris,my American husband felt more victimized than me lol. There's a certain toughness in you when you get thru adversities in life and no joke..war yeah, first world probs seem petty after. I will just say there was a lot of discrepancies in her video...saying her boyfriend defended her then implying they were not in the apartment. Then blogging in full make up whilst the police were there at 2 am totally composed then appearing later sad and reflective whilst recounting the tale. There is not a lot that really added up to me. Plus who puts all their money in a lot of goods that she implies were not insured. I like Tamara and no-one wishes her any ill-will but honestly nothing adds up about her and I agree the conversation about marriage with the boyfriend afterwards, totally weird and inappropriate in the circumstances. I think there's a lot of smoke and mirrors with this bougie lifestyle she portrays.

Dacob, the hermes journey is bullshit, my boyfriend bought me just one hermes bag from the cadogan square boutique in London and he got on well with the SA ( he’s very funny and doesn’t get impressed by anything) anyways he casually put an order for a black BIRKIN 25, and guess what, 3 days ago they called him telling him that his order has arrived, unfortunately he wasn’t able to buy it ( financially speaking) and he politely declined. He literally hasn’t gone through any “journey” and only bought 1 item from them. So purse on fleek definitely hasn’t got her birkin/Kelly because she’s a reseller. My Husband is a doctor and owns a practice near to the shop so I think they were assured that he’s not going to resell a bag.

Why does everyone hate her? I’ve never heard of her but found her video in my recommended. She’s definitely milking this robbery for all it’s worth. I don’t wish what happened to Tamara on anybody but she will be fine. She has a whole other closet at her sisters place in Brighton, she just doesn’t want to use those luxury bags because they’re “not her style” anymore. It’s also very puzzling that she did not have insurance or better security for her bags and jewellery which were her only assets of value, she’s not as wealthy as she portrays.
