Adelle Tracey - Track Session

Adelle Tracey had a stellar 2021 season - posting personal bests over 800m (1:59:50) and 1500m (4:06:56). Adelle is looking to run even faster and is putting in some big sessions during the base period preparing for 2022. We joined her for a workout down at St Mary's University in London with her coach Craig Winrow and squad.
Today's workout: 2 sets of 1000m (lap jog recovery) 800m (lap jog recovery) 400m (75sec recovery) 400m. The recovery between the sets is a lap jog.

@@sweatelite Thanks for clarifying, I wonder why there's such a big difference. Erin Stout (Freelance writer and Digital Editor for Women's Running) has talked about this too. She also wondered if it was the actual runners who were hesitant to participate or their agents. It's really worrying to me, not just because representation is incredibly important, but also because there seems to be a real, deeply-rooted problem here (fear perhaps?). I do know several runners in mainland Europe who'd be interested in participating!
