"Sometimes I only remember the days when I was young" ...that hits hard There's many old school songs that I love, but only a select few truly take me back to childhood innocence. This is one of those few songs. A divine fusion of nostalgia & melancholy is how I'd best describe it

If only there was a way to know you’re in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them. The early 2000s, little did we know, this was as good as life would get. Wish I lived it to the absolute fullest.

This is going to sound bad.. But I really liked the band when I was young but I sort of forgot about it unlike the others mentioned here.. Only recently been feeling a specific way again and have been going back down memory lane sort of speak.. Kinda glad I have.. And you know.. You are 100% right. Mark did not get that much recognition especially when compared to the others but he deserved it.. Sadly happens a fair amount though.

Love this song. Love the era. Brought me back to the days when we really started this whole internet thing. No twitter no facebook. Just IRC(mIRC), maybe ICQ, and all about sharing cool content ( games, software, music) without worries. Got a problem with someone? hit him up face to face. Nowdays these fuckers all about how viral stupid nonsense shit. These youngsters nowadays don't know. Hell they get caught just sharing dumb shit. SMH.

Cuz it's not 2001 anymore lmao. I loved nu-metal but music changes and evolves. Nu-metal is coming back around to the younger generations, though! The same way old pop-punk has been coming back around for the last few years.

@@Aimee42agree with the second part, but as musician i feel this way today : the quality of the compositions is much worse and simplistic, even lazy some times. Im talking about most of the top 10 . There is many other good compositions but it's not these that are the most listen in the top 10 commercial charts. I think that people also seem less demanding. Careful , there was some bad stuff that worked before too, but it didn't last long, or everyone took it at face value, nice but not good.(sorry for my bad english)

A band that kept me going so many times when I was in middle school. Bus rides to and from that hell with a mini-disc player and a few discs of bands like this, Sevendust, early Linkin Park, Disturbed, and eventually Smile Empty Soul. Those 15-20 minutes each way to school were everything. Now come 2021, that feeling is back again.

I also remember seeing these guys open for Linkin Park and Cypress Hill on the first ever Projekt Revolution tour :-D Whatever happened to Marky Chavez???
