After my first video I had so many messages about how suicide is something that parents of children with ADHD have thought about. You are not alone but you certainly need to talk and get your voice heard

Stay strong! I may be a random person on the internet but this video has given me a lot of insight. I'm 17 and I was recently diagonosed with ADHD, it's been tough and I've realised that most of my "bad habits" we're symptoms of undiagnosed ADHD. You're a great mother, I wish my mom was as supportive and understanding as you, but we often times clash, I wish it was different. I sometimes also have suicidal thoughts and have tried to commit suicide several times, but just like I do with my shopping list, I wait for 24 hours to see if I really want to do something. Same applies for suicide. I've read somewhere that the urge to take our own lives lasts around 5 minutes, so if you ever feel suicidal again it's a good idea to go watch some funny videos, listen to music, go grab a snack or just simply do something you find enjoyable. You're so strong for getting so far and I, a random on the internet, is very happy to see someone so open and positive about mental health discussions. Please keep it up, teens like me need people to have faith in, you're exactly what I wish I had growing up, keep making these videos and spread the word, normalize these types of discssions! I hope you have a great day, I wish you the absolute best, stay safe and don't worry too much you're doing well!
